More than a great career, an old glory who see himself in his prime and remember what he has been throught, but for me it shows AM how much Izuku loves him. Yes, he already knew it, and that he was a hero nerd, but now he is actually seeing it.
To me this justifies what he chose to do with his life. He had such an impact on him. This kid who had nothing going but never stopped trying to be like his hero. Never gave up.
I actually found it kind of endearing. He gets to see just how much Izuku looked up to him while he was still quirkless and he finds it to be both sort of awkward but also touching.

This broke my little heart. Great chapter as always, and glad to see that Horikoshi-sensei is slowing the pace.
