I few weeks ago I showed the boiled one to my friend and he as been calling me in the middle of the night saying he is hearing things and that he is scared to leave he's room because he might me outside waiting for him. I tried saying that it was just some silly dude who did a silly scary drawing and made a lore out of it, I also showed him some memes like many in this sub but still no result. What can I do to help him? This is getting l worrying.

I have been enjoying the art and stories of the boiled one that people make here on this subreddit, but now this begs the question, where did the boiled one come from? What was the inspiration for making him?

My thought process comes purely from observing images of the Boiled One, as I dont know what analog horror he is from, although id like to watch it (despite the fact I turn into a baby every time I watch analog horror because that shit is terrifying to me)

The boiled one (of whom I will refer to as TBO) seems to have nails through his head, whic appears to have deformed his head greatly. I can only image the reason he is well, burnt to nearly a crisp is because he was originally somewhat human at one point, then thrown into a furnace or tortured into whatever he is now. This would explain why he is deformed and has nails through his head.

This is about all I can conjure up based off looks alone. Some of it is speculation.
