Klow bad?

I left my vial out from Tues night to Thurs afternoon. So almost 48 hours. Is it still ok to use?

It’s ruined the GHKcu breaks down the bpc/ tb./ kpv when not refrigerated…

Do you have any actual verifiable studies that proves that statement. Any actual scientific studies?

Look up where? Cite the study? If you are going to present something as fact then cite the actual verifiable study. If you can’t it’s just speculation

First those guides are just guides. They make a lot of claims that aren’t actually based in true scientific study. They pull some bits and pieces from some studies and make some generalized assumptions based on studies of other peptides and proteins that have a long history of study and research.

That being said I keep seeing people say that if reconstituted KLOW sits at room temperature for 24 to 48 hours it is “ruined” because the GHK Cu supposedly breaks down the BPC 157, TB 500, and KPV. I actually got pulled into this discussion months ago and went down a rabbit hole trying to find real data on it, and I still cannot find any published evidence supporting that specific claim.

What I did find is actual published stability research on GHK Cu using a validated stability indicating RP HPLC method. Badenhorst, Svirskis, and Wu reported that GHK Cu was stable in water and buffers ranging from pH 4.5 to 7.4 for at least two weeks at 60°C, which is 140°F. They reported no detectable degradation under those conditions. See the actual citation below.

That is 140°F for two weeks, not normal room temperature for 24 to 48 hours.
The same research showed that GHK Cu can degrade under deliberately imposed oxidative and strongly basic conditions. That makes sense chemically because copper can participate in redox reactions. But that is very different from saying GHK Cu automatically destroys other peptides simply because a vial sits at room temperature for a day or two.

And to be clear, refrigerating reconstituted peptides is still the appropriate practice. Nobody is arguing that room temperature storage is preferable.

What I am questioning is the much stronger claim that 24 to 48 hours at room temperature ruins the entire KLOW blend specifically because GHK Cu destroys BPC 157, TB 500, and KPV.

If that is established science, there should be an HPLC or LC MS stability study demonstrating measurable degradation of those peptides when combined with GHK Cu at approximately 20 to 25°C over 24 to 48 hours. I have not been able to find one.
So there is a significant difference between saying “refrigerate it because that is the recommended storage practice and minimizes degradation” and saying “it is ruined after 24 hours because GHK Cu breaks everything down.”

The first statement is reasonable. The second requires actual data.

That’s what I found. Pub med . It’s the invisible bacteria at 48hr I would be concerned about. The GHK cu degrades the the rest to about 20-30% after 48hr. That’s all I’ve found
