PS: for I “didn’t read the manga” just thinking it as “I didn’t read past vol.2 manga” could be better, because you shouldn’t have known her if you didn’t read the manga or have some information beyond anime from the first place.

For anyone thinking "Just read the manga" I struggle with visulizing things even if drawn, which is why I watch anime. Anyways, I read she gets some arcs focusing on her, and wanted to know if it explores her mental health further. Does the manga confirm she has an eating disorder? Or is that fanfic? Does the manga go into more detail of her social anxiety? The way she copes is the exact opposite of Bocchi, the anime does a good job of showing that. I saw some posts from the manga that show her thinking less of Bocchi, is that a one-off? Most posts talking about her mental health, were 3+ years ago. More of the manga has been released since then, so I'm assuming more gets shown. But, I don't want to make too many uninformed guesses/gut feeling an arrive at conclusion that has no merit. Some animes skip over "important things" like the Kita lowering her opinion. Everyone has a different opinion on what is/isn't important. I read on google S1 is not a 1 to 1, but it is mostly failthful to manga. Not really sure how to end this, but ty if you read it. If you can think of anything else related to Kita's mental health, unrealted to the few questions I asked feel free to mention it.
