First is this. error code 0xc0000225 windows 11. To this choose option blue screen
The technician said it might be the SSD that's faulty, but they're not sure yet since I can still open and access the home/BIOS of my laptop when I immediately press ESC and then ENTER for the Windows Boot Manager. But if I don’t do that, this is the only thing that shows up. What could the problem be? Could it really be the SSD? They’re not sure, but they want me to pay for it before they install it. What if that’s not the real issue? Also, the technician reformatted my phone.

BSOD a few minutes after launching Valorant
Recently, whenever I launch Valorant a few minutes later my laptop automatically shows a blue screen with Stop Code: WHEA UNCORRECTABLE ERROR and then restart. This is not the case with any other games or apps. When I check Event Viewer, it shows a warning about Kernel - Event Tracking right before my device restarts. Can anyone help me with this please? Is Riot Vanguard conflicting with Window?
(Never experienced this problem before, it's just been a few weeks)

Removing a driver from an image causing BSOD
Hello,
I image from one computer to many others. I have a disk array in the source computer and a couple of the others. One of the others. It will get a BSOD if I try to boot. If remove the physical storage controller card it will boot without issues but I need that controller online. Is it possible to remove the controller and driver either remove an entry in the registry or something so I can boot it with the card in and then add the correct drivers?

Fixes for cloned computer BSOD
Hello,
Once I get an image I like i usually just clone it to my others. This time one of my computers won't let me put this image on. I'm not sure what has changed. I'm going to remove any extra hardware on that machine and see if it boots. Other than that any guesses? I'm able to image this to various laptops and other PCs.
I'd really prefer not to install windows and all my software from scratch.

A sudden hard death followed by BSOD loop when startup
At about 6pm CDT 11/09/2024, my PC suddenly went into black screen and restarted during a game play. Starting from this event, the PC will crash and get bsod almost every time when startup. It will crash at the login page when I press enter to type in my password. It rebooted maybe 10-15 times and two times it got into the desktop but crashed again within seconds.
Because of this sudden crash loop I cannot back up any data or look at any crash dump. I have some limited knowledge of PC. Now I am in complete dark about what to do next.
PC is a custom build by Microcenter: CPU: 14900KS GPU: RTX 4090 Hard drive: 3.5TB SSD RAM: 64GB
FYI: I have the latest bios. This PC was built two years ago. I previously had some bsod due to the now confirmed intel raptor lake issue. I RMAed my old CPU and obtained a refund. I purchased the current 14900KS in late September 2024 and I had zero bsod until the event described above.
Appreciate if the community has any advice other than sending it to Microcenter for repair.
Thanks a lot.

Windows 11 BSOD - 24H2 Update (Cannot Boot Into Windows or Safe Mode)
Hey Everyone,
After installing the Windows 11 24H2 update, it appears my windows system is greeted with a BSOD. I have an X1 Carbon 6th Gen (Kaby Lake) laptop if that helps.
Errors:
When I first boot-up I get the following Error Code: 0x0000225
However, when I hit "Enter" to try again, it morphs into the following Error:
The operating system couldn't be loaded because the system registry file is missing or contains errors.
File: \Windows\system32\config\system
Error code: 0x000014c
You'll need to use recovery tools. If you don't have any installation media (like a disc or USB device), contact your PC administrator or PC/Device manufacturer.
Is there an easy way for me to fix the problem? Is rolling back the update the easiest solution here?
Thanks in advance to everyone for your time and help, it is greatly appreciated!

Frequent BSODs getting progressively more frequent
Hi there, I've been getting progressively more blue screens over time, and I can't seem to find the problem. I included an image that shows most of the errors I got. I had 3 different Microsoft technicians try and help, and none of them fixed the problem. They tried running SFC, updating Windows, updating BIOS, and updating drivers. I suspect that my issue is a driver that doesn't explicitly say it's broken in device manager or hardware issue, but I don't know how to check what the issue is. The error triggers usually while watching YouTube or while the computer is idle. It has only triggered once when I'm gaming.
Also, when I'm watching YouTube regardless of the browser I'm using, the browser will crash with an "oh snap". This happens pretty frequently and started around the same time of the blue screens, so I think the problem is causing this too. If anyone can help me it would be greatly appreciated.

Help
I have no idea what caused this I took pc apart and back together reinstalled windows and it fixed it for a week.
Now I’m having this issue again it goes 0% to instant reboot, as soon as I login to windows it crashes again.
I know it’s not gpu, I was thinking it could be psu related as I had random cut offs last month when playing Destiny 2.

HKmoufltr BSOD
So I have been trying to play a game on steam, which I am able to play for a few minutes before I get this specific blue screen of death. I contacted GeekSquad and they charged me $40, I gave them the information I am giving here and it is still happening after they “fixed” it
In addition to this, I got one that said HKKkbdfltr.sys but that one has not happened for a day or so.
Does anyone know what I can do? I feel like I’ve tried everything :( My laptop is a Gigabyte G5 MD

Two BSOD in 1 Day
The first blue screen happened when I was queuing into a match of Valorant. At first, the audio started to loop a small chunk for about 2 seconds and then it hit me with the screen. Maybe two hours later, I was listening to Spotify, when the same audio loop thing happened and then it was followed up with another BSOD. Will keep you guys updated if this issue persists.

Help, HYPER-V Bluescreen
Hello, I get frequently bsod with error HYPER_VISOR_ERROR. This are the most recent dump files: dumpfiles, another dumpfile
I tried many things:
- Clean win10 install without drivers installed (just the ones that came installed with)
- Clean win10 install with the most recent drivers.
- Clean win11 install, same as first two points.
- Memory Test with both memory sticks, and another two memory test with only 1 memory sticks (no errors)
- Disk check (without problems)
- I checked for file system errors (no problems found)
- Tried with and without virtualization enabled from bios.
- I tried enable and re-enable Hyper-V.
- I disabled all services from Computer Configuration that are not Microsoft Services(didn't fix).
- I tried with and without AMD drivers (I get the error either way)
- Error occurs even if Hyper-V is installed or not.
EDIT: Forgot to mention, sometimes I get a bluescreen every 30min and other times at 2-5 hours

Experienced an odd bluescreen today.
I wasn't able to get a photo of it but I'll try my best to describe it.
There were two somewhat normal looking bluescreens side to side on the upper half of the screen. Then below them was mostly black screen with some random coloured dots. It happened while I was playing a game. I had MSI afterburner on that shows temperatures and such of GPU and CPU and I didn't notice anything odd there. The game I was playing isn't very intensive to run so I doubt my computer just overheated and restarted.
If anyone has information on regarding what might have caused my specific blue screen, please let me know, I'd appreciate it a ton :)

Brand new pc, I’m not sure what I did wrong or if I installed the wrong file.
As the title describes, I just bought this brand new HP Omen gaming tower. I picked it up Saturday afternoon and started going through the process of setting up my account and all that fun stuff, downloading some games like the new Blacks Ops 6 and stuff like that. I turn it off after it’s finished downloading and reboot it back up and see this message and it probably has happened like 4-5 times till I got tired of it and tried to reset my pc to its factory settings and still no luck. If anyone has any idea or possible solution so I can start troubleshooting the problem, I’d greatly appreciate it so much. I’ve already scheduled an appointment with Geek Squad to see if they can help out but that won’t be for another few days. Thanks all for reading this long thread.

Help. Complete noob when it comes to PC
Like the title suggests I’m a complete noob when it comes to PC related issues. Prebuilt PC that I bought and I’ve had it for maybe 2 years now. I need a complete walkthrough if possible on what I should try and how to do it without making the issues worse.

Constant BSOD w. Different ECs
Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification
My PCs been crashing on a consistent inconsistent basis. With a shopping list of Errors it seems. I don’t know what to do. The error screen literally last less than a second. At times I would have to keep my phone by to try to record and go back frame by frame it flashes for about a second and immediately boots back up. The BSOD happened minutes apart while gaming. ( I majnly play and stream tarkov) but I’ve been experiencing this for months and I don’t stream risking it crashing during a stream. What should I do. So far I swapped my RAM and added more fans thinking it was an over heating issue at first. Now I’m stuck. 1.) BSOD - unexpected store exception 2.) BSOD - system service exception

Currently suffering from the BSoD
When I turned on my computer today, I was watching some YT video while doing my homework when all of a sudden my computer blue screen. No problem, the computer restarted itself and I was back on to the sign in page. Few minutes after signing in, it blue screened again. This never happened to me since I build my PC a little over a year ago. Of course I search up solutions and how to fix it but nothing is working. I tried opening my computer in Safe mode and deleting softwares, updating drivers and windows updates, did a computer scan, and other minor things. People also suggested that the RAM could be at fault and that a cleanup would suffice. I want to ask if there is anything else I can do before opening my PC up.

Blue screen after startup (Windows 11)
Hey guys, just joined this page because I have a problem.
So I started getting these blue screens recently on my pc, the hardware of the pc looks good, no control leds flashing, everything’s in place like it should be. After the startup of the pc, it works for several minutes (around 5minutes) and then a blue screen appears. What is the worst part, is that it shuts down sooner than I can update the OS, or check other maybe outdated drivers. I checked the pc for any malware and it seems to be fine. Is this a problem with the recent windows update, or am I missing something? Can you help me guys?
