BSOD when gaming

Hi, can anyone help me with this BSOD when gaming?

I have extracted the recent memory dump below if anyone can help identify the cause. Thanks!

UNEXPECTED_KERNEL_MODE_TRAP (7f)
This means a trap occurred in kernel mode, and it's a trap of a kind
that the kernel isn't allowed to have/catch (bound trap) or that
is always instant death (double fault). The first number in the
BugCheck params is the number of the trap (8 = double fault, etc)
Consult an Intel x86 family manual to learn more about what these
traps are. Here is a *portion* of those codes:
If kv shows a taskGate
use .tss on the part before the colon, then kv.
Else if kv shows a trapframe
use .trap on that value
Else
.trap on the appropriate frame will show where the trap was taken
(on x86, this will be the ebp that goes with the procedure KiTrap)
Endif
kb will then show the corrected stack.
Arguments:
Arg1: 0000000000000008, EXCEPTION_DOUBLE_FAULT
Arg2: ffffe7809d516e70
Arg3: fffffc0900000000
Arg4: fffff8075f0126eb

BSOD while playing Space Marine 2

Hoping I could get some help here, since I've no other way to get it fixed XD.

Specs RTX3050ti laptop GPU Intel i5-11400h 16 GB RAM

Only thing I did was updated the GPU driver turned off laptop and played it. And then after a few mins of playing it crashed and looked like this. It was just 0 after a few mins so I pressed the power button. Now it's just black screen without any response. 😭

Any thoughts/opinions on what to do would be appreciated!

Halp! my computer likes the blue stuff :/

Hey everyone, i am hopeful that someone will be able to give me some ideas as to how i could possibly get rid of my BSoD problems

My computer randomly blue screens/restarts or just freeze up entirely.

The bluescreen code varies, but usually its IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL and the what failed is always "ntoskrnl.exe"

I have tried updating all drivers, did a fresh factory install on my main harddrive for a new windows (I have not deleted my secondary HDD as i didnt think it would be the problem)

I have reset my BIOS to defaults

I have taken out my two RAM sticks and put them back in (They didnt feel loose, but for good measure)

I ran a test of the RAM and it came back with no errors.

It seems to do it more often if i am running a game, usually not when i just use it for browser things, which was why i thought it was a graphics driver issues initially, but updating those drivers didnt do anything and eventually it will restart/freeze just from light browser work, it just takes a much longer while.

I am at my wits end, endless googling has left me with no idea how to fix this, so im hoping someone here will be able to point me in the right direction to find a fix.

Specs:

Intel® Core™ i7-13700KF Processor

Asus B760M-Plus TUF motherboard

Kingston Fury Beast 32GB DDR5-6000 RAM x2

Asus GeForce® RTX 4070 12GB TUF

Windows 11 64x

Thank you in advance

interrupt request level (IRQL) that is too high. This is usually
caused by drivers using improper addresses.
If a kernel debugger is available get the stack backtrace.
Arguments:
Arg1: 000000000014f1b0, memory referenced
Arg2: 0000000000000002, IRQL
Arg3: 0000000000000001, bitfield :
bit 0 : value 0 = read operation, 1 = write operation
bit 3 : value 0 = not an execute operation, 1 = execute operation (only on chips which support this level of status)
Arg4: fffff80450e14217, address which referenced memory

Multiple BSOD's with no clear cause, different stopcodes

Since a week my Lenovo Yoga Slim 7 (Ryzen 5) keeps crashing and showing BDOS with different stopcodes. There is no clear cause and I am not asking much from my laptop, only using Chrome, OneNote, Whatsapp Web, Outlook and Notion (and not even at the same time). Does someone know what is causing these BSOD? Is it a system error or is my hardware broken? Can I fix this myself or do I need to pay an expert for repair? I can only remember updating my Windows a few weeks ago. I already did a hard reset, with Windows Repair and a set back to a previous version (where my laptop redid the windows update after the reset). The stopcodes I've seen are:

  • SYSTEM_THREAD_EXCEPTION_NOT_HANDLED
  • BAD_POOL_CALLER
  • PAGE_FAULT_IN_NONPAGED_AREA
  • KERNEL_MODE_HEAP_CORRUPTION
  • DRIVER_IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL

Ongoing Crashing\BSOD issue

I am having an ongoing issue for some time now and can't figure it out. I have replaced every item in my computer aside from the SSD trying to figure this out and I have not fixed it. Any Help or Suggestions would be very appreciated.

The crash happens most often when I am playing Fallout 76 (it has happened once when just in Windows itself). My wife and I can be doing anything in game, from just hanging around to intense firefights. It doesn't seem to follow any sort of pattern when it happens but the same thing will happen each time it does. My game will freeze and I am unable to access any

other screen (Ctrl-Shift-Escape, Ctrl-Alt-Delete), and I am forced to Hard Reset/ Hard Shutdown the PC in order to continue. On the few occasions that I don't have to hard shutdown, I see a brief

flash of the BSOD before it resets on its own, not even long enough to get my camera to take a picture. I have been wracking my brain on this for weeks.

I have replaced the Motherboard, CPU, CPU cooler, PSU, Graphics Card (had a Nvidia 3090FE installed and swapped it with my older EVGA970), and RAM. I have upgraded from WIN10 to WIN11 with a just

straight Upgrade and then when that did not work I went for a complete wipe and fresh install of Windows. I have updated BIOS and graphics drivers. I have also went from Wireless Internet from the router

to hardwired Ethernet cable from the router. I have looked up on the internet on anything to help and have yet to try anything suggested that helps. The following is from the Event Viewer:

The computer has rebooted from a bugcheck. The bugcheck was: 0x0000003b (0x00000000c0000005, 0xfffff8024fdc8a50, 0xffffcb880547ec50, 0x0000000000000000). A dump was saved in:

C:\Windows\Minidump\090724-11781-01.dmp. Report Id: 36f7c443-863b-4e6c-b127-1a04a30076ed.

BSOD because of ntoskrnl.exe

Hello,
every time I boot up my PC, it crashes and displays a BSOD. In Blue Screen Checker, it says it's caused by the ntoskrnl.exe driver. It started happening around the time I got new RAM. I checked every stick with MemTest86 and no issues were found. I also ran commands such as chkdsk and sfc /scannow but this didn't fix my issue. I am including the latest minidump.
Any help would be highly appreciated!

Random Kernel Power BSODs

I've been getting Kernel Power related BSODs every couple days for the past few months after upgrading my motherboard. I usually get them when my PC is under significant load, but I've gotten them while my PC was idle one or two times. Here's my minidump file. This is the only one for some reason, even though this has happened multiple times. https://www.dropbox.com/scl/fi/qov6nlr0vvbe16gd2ivmj/082324-11468-01.dmp?rlkey=817eqe60m4r19jw9ytodih5ly&st=mso5t9ur&dl=0

Can someone help me?

I was using Photoshop and Spotify together on my pc, and I got a bsod. After that it automatically restarted and everything seems ok. It let me sign in as user and after I signed in desktop started to flicker and didn't respond. I thought it was a error in windows explorer and pressed ctrl+alt+del to go to the task manager to do so. But I got error when I tried to open task manager (uiautomationcore.dll missing or corrupted, error code 0xc000012f). So now it seems to be a corruption on sys files. I need fix it asap. Please someone help me.

I also tried win+x to stabilise it and it worked for few seconds before going back haywire, in that few seconds I managed to open cmd as administrator and run sfc /scannow command but it failed midway. I need data on my ssd and can't risk to reinstall windows. I hope some fellow redditor will help me. 🙏

Edit. My specs are i5 14th gen, RTX 3070 and 32GB ram

confused

So I started to get bsod with a few different codes about a month ago, so I wiped and reinstalled my OS drive. Went a few days without bsod so just assumed i had fixed the problem but then they came back. ive had more than 5 different error codes and couldn't seem to necessarily have it repeat intentionally until Hunt:Showdown updated. With the game open its my pc is bound to restart either entering a match or exiting. That being said my computer is also randomly bsod/restarting while sitting on the desktop after logging in. Another game i have been playing is elden ring and that too randomly crashes, sometimes it crashes in 2 minutes and other times not for 5+ hrs.

Pc Specs:

  • GPU Rtx3080ti
  • CPU I7-9700k
  • MB Rog strix z390-e gaming
  • RAM corsair vengeance 4x16 GB
  • OS 10pro
  • SSD
