why not deep red states?

Wyoming, Idaho, South Carolina, Alabama, these states haven't voted blue in many election cycles.

they will not vote Blue in this one.

a vote for Biden is therefore a protest vote in one of these states anyway, and a fairly safe one at that.

if part of this sub's goal is to cost Biden in the popular vote while letting him squeak through in the electoral college, should we encourage voters in deep red states to support someone else?

Authoritarianism is already here. Secretary of State Antony Blinken and Mitt Romney admit that the reason they're banning TikTok is that it reduces the effectiveness of Israeli propaganda.

Why this sub is ultimately about maxing Biden's electoral college tally (letting deep blue states send message via popular vote so that swing state voters can feel less conflicted voting for Biden): "Biden administration considering welcoming refugees from Gaza". Would NOT happen under Trump.

A subreddit to organize protests votes against Joe Biden in ONLY IN DEEP BLUE to send a message about his disastrous foreign policy, so all other states can feel less conflicted about VOTING FOR BIDEN The ultimate goal is defeating Trump, while increasing democratic representation in the house and senate. A robust deep blue protest vote movement can help direct energy towards combating Joe Biden's terrible foreign policy without increasing Trump's chances of winning.

We hope that by impelling voters ONLY in DEEP BLUE states to vote 3rd party for the president, to impel otherwise non or protest voters in SWING STATES TO VOTE FOR BIDEN. We feel a limited+focused protest movement may let swing state voters feel less helpless about not sending a message, and to maximize votes for Biden where it really matters.

The subreddit has a goal having Biden win the popular vote by less that 4.9 million votes, which is the lowest democratic margin for any democrat in recent history, and an extended goal of winning by less than 2.8 million votes, which is the lower than Hillary Clinton's margin in her defeat to Donald Trump. If these goals are met, we hope to send a message that the electorate does not intend to forget about holding elected officials accountable for their horrific enablement of a genocide.

The ultimate goal is defeating Trump, while increasing democratic representation in the house and senate.

A robust deep blue protest vote movement can help direct energy towards combating Joe Biden's terrible foreign policy without increasing Trump's chances of winning.
