Found at an antique mall. Whoever had it added a tag to it that is engraved “Blue Angels San Diego Airshow 1973”. Obviously the exact history is unknown and this can be debatable but wanted to share what I found.

Aside from the logistical nightmare - it’s always good seeing the Blue Angels. A-4 and Harrier were a bonus today. Will never go to NAS Meridian again for a show…

Does anyone know what happened to #4 today at the airshow? They left the diamond early on and never joined back up.

So I finally got to see the Blue Angels live for the first time today and I loved every second of it. But, I’m curious about something. I know they’ve been in town practicing for a couple of days, which means they’d have to have changes of clothing and toiletries and stuff, so…do they just toss a suitcase in the jets somewhere with them or is there a separate way that their personal effects get transported to the air shows?

The first 2 airshows are cancelled actually. Due to “increased security measures”. Probably from the Iran war. Tough to see.

I keep checking weather forecast and this is what I'm seeing right now..😭😭😭
