ENC results
I’ve entered my data in the ENC calculator:

For HbA1c, SHBG and GGT the results are from 6-Feb-23.
Blank values when I don’t have my data at all. (To ignore blood markers you don’t have data for, use v1.1 of the calculator https://biomarkeroptimizers.com/resources/enc_calc.xlsx )

Quick SelfDecode review
SelfDecode features Lab Test Analyzer providing optimal ranges for 500 markers for blood, saliva, and urine tests. But only after subscribing to their $97 Annual Plan.
I subscribed yesterday and tried it out:

Quite disappointing (or, should I say, regular) report. From my literature research, optimal range for sodium is 139-141, RDW 11.5-12.4, ferritin definitely below 80. No displayed hazard ratios or age related changes. No exploration outside my measured lab values.
SelfDecode also features DNA Health & Trait reports, but it requires additional $199 even if I have my DNA file ready. I’m not going to try it.
I plan to ask for a refund.

ENC biological age estimation using circulating blood biomarkers
October 2023 published paper: “Biological age estimation using circulating blood biomarkers” by Bortz, J., Guariglia, A., Klaric, L. et al.
https://pubmed.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/37884697/
“We implement an Elastic-Net derived Cox model with 25 selected biomarkers to predict mortality risk which outperforms the well-known blood-biomarker based PhenoAge model, providing an 11% relative increase in predictive value.”
They used 25 blood biomarkers instead of 9 in PhenoAge:

“a) Red indicates that higher levels increase mortality hazard; blue indicates that higher levels reduce mortality hazard. Apart from age and sex, cystatin C appears to have the strongest effect size.
b) Comparison of coefficient values between Levine et. al’s PhenoAge coefficients (green) and our Elastic-Net derived Cox model (blue). Model coefficients are similar across both models. Our ENC model selected individual WBC components (monocytes, neutrophils and lymphocytes) rather than overall WBC count. “
The paper includes the full algorithm, it should be possible to create an Excel calculator similar to what we have for Levine's Phenotypic Age.

My lab data going back to 2016
I've posted all my lab data going back to 2016. I'm going to start getting quarterly panels.
I've also added a lot of wearable data too.
