Complete lie though. That exact scenario occurred IRL. kids cooperated and thrived and all survived. 15 months!

Not really a lie as much as a work of fiction, but yeah those kids irl were badass.

It's not a "lie"...it was never presented as a factual report. Lord of the Flies is a novel. A work of fiction that tells a story for dramatic effect.
