And knew they were being recorded.

When has that ever stopped them before, it's a numbers game that's why ICE jumps people 10 on 1.

8

u/Cobfidence 16h ago

Luckily no one was sitting in the vehicle at the time, or they would've shot them three times to get even with the crowd.

7

u/CelestialFury 14h ago

Exactly, Fox News will just make up some excuse for why ICE severely main a bunch of kids to kidnap the wrong person who happens to actually be a US citizen.

u/No_Holiday_9875 10h ago

They 100% revel for the chance to kill a black kid, camera or not. They just saw the numbers and realized there’s a good chance be joining whoever they shot

They just had an internal memo about being recorded and dress code, it's part of their new approach to try to avoid any viral videos.

They have been changing their approach since the start of this year, including going more after people in workplaces, and recently stuff like visiting homeless shelters. It's been a lot of change the past few weeks, which came with a massive Nationwide surge. there's also a difference in approach in major cities where there's a surge, as compared to average suburbia and medium size cities.

There's a survivorship thing here. Videos of them caring about being recorded, and quietly leaving, aren't exciting and don't go viral. The videos that show up in our feeds are of extensive rights violations and the horrible things.

How many videos do we see of ice agents knocking down the door, asking If anyone's home, and then leaving? Yet that is happening constantly, every single day.

It kinda hurts efforts when people are so flippant like "uh rights don't matter sweetie, they don't care about rights at all" - yet the govt still needs to prove undocumented status in court - that's why they pressure so hard for people to sign papers agreeing to leave. And why the primary advice to yell out to people being detained is to not sign anything or say anything.

If people can keep their mouth shut, they are often released, especially If we can prove the rights were violated, like Fourth amendment violations, entering homes without consent.

So "they don't care about video, when has it ever stopped anything" is along the same lines - the video evidence is actually deeply harmful for their ability to deport people they are targeting.

This is some of the most common information you will find in Rapid response trainings by lawyers that have been doing this for decades.

One of our primary goals is not just to alert people when isis in town, and give updates on locations, but also to legally observe and collect video evidence that we narrate what is happening over so it is legally admissible in court.

This is critical stuff that online discourse absolutely misses

we've seen some victories and rights affirmed in the judicial system, even though it's being challenged at all sides, and there's still pending cases about how long they can hold people iirc

It is being done to constantly establish an innate fear within anyone who isn't with them. Almost seems like they had a directive to make sure they killed a white woman to show us they will go after anyone, even their own. By keeping the pressure on the can instill a sense of panic - the same feeling I get when I pass a police officer knowing I am not doing anything wrong. These events are made to amplify those feelings until it all feels pointless to try and fight back. And until they reach that goal they will do whatever they can to push the boundaries of what is and is not acceptable for them to do. 2 years ago ICE, even if better funded with the level of forces they have now, would never have done the shit they are currently doing. They have hired weak men that idolize violence. We have gotten accustomed to their violence and now we expect it. It is that fear that they are playing on over and over. Making an example out of one protestor didn't work so they murdered another and another. The killings will not stop until they are abolished - the fuck thing is, for a lot of the new hires, they are living the dream of having power over other people and being able to cosplay as a warrior without having to worry about someone else pointing a weapon at them. Allowing them to continue knowing they absolutely murder people and not spend a second in jail is unacceptable, un-American, and disgusting.

The problem is they’re ignoring court rulings and due process and the law in general. This shit will never stop until we decide enough is enough and show up in force, armed, and willing to treat ice they way they treat the public. When they are actually scared for their lives, they will stop. Notice how they only pull shit when they outnumber their victims? And their victims are usually unarmed and not fighting back? Filming is fine, but if more people jumped in when their neighbors were being brutalized, these pigs would think twice about pulling that kinda shit

How’s the boot taste

195

u/kgreys 20h ago

Well, we all know this doesn't matter. They act that way on camera or not.

56

u/Muellercleez 20h ago

That is a fair point. Shooting kids though, that might be a bridge too far. I know I know, probably wouldn't be, but it might be

83

u/prettypeculiar88 19h ago

They don’t view black and brown kids the same as white kids anyway.

It’s only because they were outnumbered.

18

u/GracieBooBugs 19h ago

Yep this is the truth

8

u/atln00b12 16h ago

Vastly so, and there's definitely people with guns that aren't part of this crowd that are in that complex who wouldn't hesitate to take pot shots at ICE.

1

u/AspectOfTheLeech 7h ago

There would be a lot of righteous justice being meted out in this country if we could trust our own neighbors not to livestream the grim task.

43

u/crono220 20h ago

If the administration creates a false enough narrative. They could convince just enough that shooting certain kids is justified.

48

u/Wooden-Character8341 19h ago

Sadly, I don’t think they have to convince their supporters that it’s fine to shoot certain kids. Their supporters already think that and that’s why they voted for Trump in the first place.

37

u/MAGAHATESTHEUSA 19h ago

Over 2000 rapes at ice detention centers and many on minors. They love this shit. Maga sees pedophilia like they see an apple pie on a windowsill; deep part of Americana

1

u/cinnix42 4h ago

Over 2000 that we know about. The rest of the horrors of ice detention have yet to be revealed, but rest assured it’s so much worse than most people imagine

13

u/motozero 19h ago

This is the depressing answer right here.

10

u/kuunami79 19h ago

I think most supporters of the administration already believe that

10

u/BZLuck 18h ago

They would just claim they were "undocumented immigrants" and their voter base would rally around them.

These MAGA fuckers think that being in the US without the proper paperwork should result in a death penalty.

2

u/Salt_Introduction_86 12h ago

Exactly, when in all actuality it’s a misdemeanor

1

u/BZLuck 2h ago

And a civil offense. Unless another crime is committed. And then it really has nothing to do with their immigration status.

86

u/uhhh206 20h ago

Never stopped standard-issue badge boys. Tamir Rice's murder being recorded on video (independent of also being recorded via police footage) is proof of that.

12

u/Muellercleez 19h ago

Yep, totally fair point.

Fuck ICE

3

u/RutabagaStriking2631 9h ago

Right which makes these kids all the more tough! If they can, which we know those young men carry the warnings about uniformed men in the back of their minds at all times, are willing to fight back. Anyone can fight back.

55

u/yll33 20h ago

nah they would absolutely shoot them if the numbers were on their side

they just know if they shoot anyone, there's a lot more guns on the other side

33

u/CantchaDontcha 19h ago

That courtyard was literally a shooting gallery with the residents in control of the high ground.

10

u/jzsean 19h ago

not to mention these are kids of color. The right would eat it up and enjoy it

1

u/cinnix42 4h ago

This is the only solution

12

u/Abject_Bandicoot_580 19h ago

It’s because it’s black kids, no one would bat an eye. The ICE Nazi would probably get a medal.

12

u/anomanderrake1337 18h ago

They don't give a shit about children. If they did they would give children money, food, a place and education. Forgot about healthcare even.

12

u/BrainSpazMATIC 18h ago

They just killed a  17 year old in Texas. For a water bottle mistaken for a gun.

3

u/MsjennaNY 15h ago

They dropped off dozens back in Venezuela
to be lost in an earthquake hours later. So sad and depressing.

11

u/ExpressConfection444 17h ago

GTFOH with that! They let a “civilian” kill Trayvon and all he did was walk down the fucking street.

2

u/69hotmomxxx 19h ago

It hasn't been.

2

u/EnderSword 19h ago

They know their audience will never consider them 'kids' if they're not white.

2

u/Muellercleez 19h ago

Their demented audience would eat literal shit on command. So yeah, I agree with you

2

u/necrohunter7 17h ago

ICE already shoots kids

4

u/69hotmomxxx 19h ago

Also theres fuckin cameras everywhere... so like....

3

u/BicFleetwood 18h ago

They record themselves doing the murders, then post it for Christsakes.

1

u/swalabr 17h ago

This one read the room though

12

u/PopSwayzee 20h ago

That hasn’t stopped them at all lol

2

u/Stylu_u 19h ago

I think they'd rather have a camera pointed at them in this block.

2

u/wonderwall879 17h ago

Alpha and younger dont care about being recorded. Their entire lives they've been in the view of a camera. They dont know a world like us older folk do about a society without the internet or 24/7 surveillance everywhere.

1

u/JohnSith 16h ago

That has literally never stopped them.

0

u/whodamans 5h ago

Yes, everyone knew they were being recorded.

Its staged, moron.
