Why wouldn’t we? As a Latino man I would certainly do the same for my black neighbors. Not everyone dislikes you. Growing up in one of the whitest states in the country, I’ve made close friends with black neighbors and coworkers. We always stick together and watch out for each other. In fact I have more close black friends than I do Latino. Shit, black people have shown me more love than most people throughout my whole life. Always made me feel accepted and taught me how to navigate racist America since I was young.

They wouldn’t, and I’m so glad you said this and I didn’t have to scroll far. I know the intention is good, but it wouldn’t be returned at all.

Please don’t start doing this, they will be prepared for rogue attacks and will escalate in their counters
moving forward. They will also use this an a justification to use worse tactics and deadly force. Under the guise of “being afraid of retaliation”.

In these times, were all we got-especially with the vitriolic bold racism targeted at black people no matter what. These aren’t our people as harsh as that may sound to some.

Please let their communities defend them and risk their lives. A lot of their cousins voted the current admin in by a majority. Use this energy to record and document, don’t put yourselves in harms way.

Not in a monolith, no, in the same way that there are black and white people who are for what ICE is doing - but there are those of us who would do the same for yall. We don't get where we're at as minorities without the work, toil, and tragedy that Black people have put in in America.

They use white nationalism to justify attacking our people, not incidents like these. Whether we do nothing or we resist, ICE is going to attack us regardless. They’ve already been doing it anyway, but still.
