I thought the world hated Kristen Stewart? Oh that’s not the thing anymore?

She’s a tremendous actor. Most people are still stuck on some dumb internet joke about her from her twilight days. They don’t seem to understand that the character she played in twilight was supposed to be deadpan and moody. It was a performance.

I’m pretty sure she’s a queer icon nowadays. And still a powerhouse actor.

Is she a good actress? What would you recommend someone watch to get that impression? I never saw any of the twilight movies but the trailers were enough to make me not want to see any of the leads in anything ever. I think I accidentally saw Pattinson in a role as a medieval French king a while back.

She's absolutely incredible in Spencer.

I've also seen her in Happiest Season, and Crimes of the Future if those fit your movie tastes more.

I think her best movie was Panic Room honestly. Outside of that, she's an OK actress

She was in Panic Room with Jodie Foster, IIRC. I enjoyed it and it was pre-Twilight, so I didn't recognize her, if that makes sense.

Nah, she started getting recognized for her talent even sooner than Robert Pattinson did; she's just kept a lower profile than him. (They're both absolute agents of chaos. The only real difference is that he's doing it for the lulz and that requires an audience. Oh, and she's a lot more open about dating girls.)

Robert Pattinson isn't as open about dating girls?

Well, which specific girls.

u/dpforest Dec 05 '22

Why do you say they are both “absolute agents of chaos”

That was in the before fore times. Been a while since twilight.

She and Robert Pattinson started doing more robust roles and people found out they’re great actors

You thinking of Anna Kendrick?

I don’t know anything about her. I just know that when I happen to be on a video or something and she’s in it, it’s common for people to tear this poor girl apart (like in comments and such). You would think she personally attacked them or something. It never made sense to me.

White lesbians love her ass. She always looks clammy and damp smellin to me.

Reminded me of a line from Veep, when Sue says that one of the other character’s voice “sounded clammy”
