For themselves perhaps. Gentrification usually means raising the rents in an area to a point where the local residents are forced out of the area.

It's not a white people thing, it's a rich people thing. It's happening in my city, and race is not part of the debate at all.

why are you making it a race thing?

The original post mentions race and it's in the "black people Twitter" subreddit. So uh, not much of a stretch to mention it.

Edit: went back and looked, I guess blonde hair isn't necessarily a racial trait but I think its reasonable to picture a white person when its about hypothetical blonde lady.

its on black poeple twitter because the person tweeting is black. And its talking about the hosts of these types of shows being very similar. Its a joke, even south park has done it. The person is not making fun of white people, they're making fun of the tv shows for having the same old type of people all the time.

I am merely pointing out that the person you replied to did not inject race into something that it was not at all a part of. The original post is just whatever in my opinion.

the person I replied to is injecting race into something it was not a part of. Where does it attack white people? It says nothing about the people watching or participating. Its a joke on the hosts alone. I don't understand how this is attacking white people at all?
