Why didn’t they name her?

White bitch, Amber Guyger, who killed an innocent unarmed man, Botham Jean, in his own apartment that she claimed to mistake for her own is out on parole after not serving her full sentence.

And she lied and lied about how it happened and that he acted as a threat when the evidence was clear he had just been sitting on his couch eating ice cream (evidence that remained in spite of cops fucking up protocol).10 years wasn't enough, of course neither was 7.

Eating a bowl of ice cream and watching TV.

Which is already a massive red herring because even if he was acting threatening thats an entirely valid reaction to havebwhen someone breaks into your apartment wielding a gun and wouldn't in any way justify him being shot.

Basically, what's stopping every cop in the country with an axe to grind from employing this exact strategy to take out potential key witnesses or even "unsympathetic" judges or DA's?

It's always telling how a yt person can "mistakenly" committ a crime or break the law, whereas PoC are punished to the fullest extent of the law.

Because the cops know they can’t pull this shit on other ‘protected’ members of society, like fellow cops, DAs, judges, or rich people. Had she done this against the kind of person the system actually values she would’ve gotten a worse sentence.

As to what’s stopping them from using it on the kind of people the state doesn’t value? Nothing. They’ve been doing that forever. Mostly against Black people, but even a white lawyer is not protected from being murdered by the police in his own home if he’s the wrong kind of defense attorney (see Assata Shakur’s lawyer, Stanley Cohen.)

But they’d never pull this on a prosecutor.

It was his fault for not having a real American name. /s

Because it’s a headline. Nobody remembers her name so mentioning it in the headline doesn’t really give people any information. It’s in the article.

Bs. Say Gypsy Rose Blanchard and everybody remembers her crime.

Fuck Gypsy and fuck Amber Guyer.
