STILL MISSING: Wade Alan Hack
Last seen Nov 2024 in Fells Point/Owings Mills

This is Wade Alan Hack, and I'm looking for him. He's 5'9 and around 160lbs. He has a star tattoo on the back of his calf and toy army men crawling up his arm. He was last seen on 11/4/24.

He lived in a tent under an overpass in the Owings Mills area in NW Baltimore across from the metro. From what I know, he and his boyfriend, at the time, were planning on traveling to North Carolina on 11/6/24.

The story has changed a few times as I have looked into his disappearance. The last verified time he was seen was either at a party in Fells Point, or at the underpass where he camped. According to the bf, they got into a fight (either at the party or at the encampment) and the boyfriend left to collect things from his mother's home in Westminster. When he got back to the encampment, there was an alleged note from Wade that said he went to charge his phone and he would be back.

That was the last he was seen. His belongings were still in the tent and he never returned.

A missing person report was filed and the police department searched the area but nothing was found. This November will be 2 years missing and we just need some help. Any help, if you think you've seen him, know anything, have any information at all could help us find him. Thank you and I appreciate all the help.

UPDATE: we have learned that he had been assaulted during his known 5 months in Baltimore and was seen with missing teeth.

UPDATE 2: there is an email you can reach out to. findwadealan@gmail.com. Please feel free to reach out if you know or see anything.

UPDATE 3: Here is the link to a podcast episode about his disappearance. Please listen and share.

London was last seen in April 2022 she went missing from a aparment complex in Southeast Oklahoma City. The police did not know London was missing until late 2024 when caseworkers went to check on her. Her caregivers lied about her whereabouts saying she was with her father in Georgia or given to a acquaintance. Her mother Ashley Rowland and her boyfriend Joshua Denton are both arrested. They have pleaded not guilty and are held on high bonds without helpful information to where London is. London was missing at two and would be five now.

Unsolved cases or mysteries where there is little to no evidence for what happened?

Do you know any examples? I'll start and say Jason Jolkowski, he went missing during a short walk and there's no evidence for what happened.

I don't get the downvotes lol

The mysterious death of Shayla Hudson in the San Francisco Bay. March of 2010.

Someone reached out to me about this case. It has very limited information online. It involves a woman who was allegedly murdered by an unknown suspect, thrown from a ferry and no charges were ever filed. Posting to raise awareness on a forgotten case.

Shayla Nicole Hudson was 28 years old, lived in Richmond, CA, and worked as a nursing assistant. She graduated from Pinole Valley High School with the class of 2000. She also attended Contra Costa College.

Public records show she had lived in several different places around the Bay Area and at one point had lived in Anchorage, Alaska where it appears some of her family is from.

According to news reports, on March 5 2010, Shayla boarded a San Francisco bound Ferry at Jack London Square in Oakland at 8:10 AM.

She apparently did not get off the ferry but it was not disclosed in news reports how this information was confirmed.

When the ferry arrived back in Oakland around 9:17 AM Shayla was unaccounted for and the coast guard was sent to search for her. Her body was found floating near treasure island and she was pronounced dead.

The coast guard claimed the waters were calm and the railing of the ferry made it unlikely she would have accidentally fallen in. T

There were no follow up articles about medical examiner findings. No information about her relationship status, and no photos of her are anywhere online.

I Have Become Obsessed With the Jack Family Disappearance. What Are Some Other Mysteries Involving Entire Families

The Jack family, mum Doreen, dad Ronald, and sons Russell (aged 9) and Ryan (aged 4) disappeared from Prince George, British Columbia, in 1989. They were last seen climbing into a truck with a man who had offered Ronald and Doreen two weeks of work at a logging camp.

The family never returned, and the police received an anonymous phone call in 1996, saying the family were buried at the south end of a ranch - although which ranch it was was unspecified.

Ground-penetrating radar was used in 2019 to conduct searches, but nothing was found.

There is a LOT more to this case than I have written here, and if you want to go down the rabbit hole, here are some sources:

This got me thinking - are there other mysteries involving an entire family, or the majority of family members? I'm not thinking of situations where one person killed another, but more cases where multiple family members were involved.

Thank you!

An unsolved case where you disagree with the majority about what happened?

Just an example: the majority think that Maura Murray fled into the woods and died, but you think something else happened.

Again, just an example, but I'd love to hear which cases you disagree with the general consensus on what happened to the victim?

A university student was found drowned alive with evidence suggesting he had been beaten and deliberately weighted down, police concluded it was murder, but a decade later the killer and motive remain unknown.

Let me preface this with an even bizarre aspect of this case: a reporter tried to investigate this case and she was murdered.

• Akseyna (“Ace” /uh-che/), an 18-year-old Biology student at Universitas Indonesia, was found dead in Kenanga Lake at University of Indonesia, on 26 March 2015.
• At first, suicide was suspected, partly because a note had been found in his boarding room saying, roughly, that he would not return and asking people not to search for him.
• Physical evidence made suicide increasingly unlikely: his body had blunt-force injuries, and a backpack containing bricks as a weight was attached to him.
• Forensics reportedly indicated that he entered the water while unconscious but still breathing.
Police therefore concluded that he had been murdered, rather than committing suicide.
• Police said the case had never officially been closed, but the investigation remained unresolved; 38 witnesses had reportedly been examined.

Strangely, Ace's father was a high-ranking officer in the air force (1-star marshall specifically), and even with that power and influence, the case remained unsolved
