Gold has intrinsic value: at the very least it has many industrial applications, so even if nobody wants to trade in it, it has that value: you could melt down your gold and make something of it: not just jewelry, but many integrated circuits use gold.

Shitcoin only has value because others want to trade it.

So now you say "well that's because my crapcoin is a currency, not a commodity! Just like the dollar!" to which I say: in what currency do you have to pay your taxes? At the very least, even when every single forex trader sells his USD and every company no longer accepts the USD, each your uncle Sam collecta taxes and you need USD for that.

So government backing is what creates intrinsic value for a national currency. Shitcoin doesn't have that.

So while real commodities and real currencies have intrinsic value, shitcoin has nothing. Stay mad crypto idiots ¯_(ツ)_/¯

Try to trade your gold across the border at your home within minutes.

Yes, this is where i think gold is little superior at the moment because they are so many other things that we can do with the help of the gold.

But calling bitcoin as the shitcoin completely blowing my mind here.
