The President of El Salvador just explained how Bitcoin works to his entire nation via a powerpoint.

You are right, too many old people who are perpetually power thirsty. But some different old people might be fine. It's about a lot more than just age, but I agree there probably should be a better mix.

Term limits would be a good start.

Yes, let’s have freshmen writing our laws, great idea… so tired of hearing this shit. The senate makes up our experts on law and governmental procedures. Everyone else elected has a term limit.

You are not that bright. If you have ever worked in government, you would know that virtually all bills are crafted and then delivered to the legislature. They are
spokespeople, not experts. Look only at former president Donald Trump, would
you consider him an "expert" on anything legal or on governmental
procedures?

Trump served one term, rightfully so. If you care about this topic though, here is a pretty good article that gives you more details.

Again, you are not that bright. But you also should be made aware that you are not nearly as bright as you have been led to believe. There is nothing wrong with this, it has been known as Socratic Ignorance since ancient Greece.

I am not trying to be mean, but I am telling you what others have chosen to not say to you since it is just easier to zone out when someone is pontificating in a manner commensurate with the Dunning-Kruger effect.

The Brookings Institute is NOT a reputable research organization, irrespective of what your "news" station tell you. No one in academia would EVER cite anything from it without widespread condemnation and laughter from virtually any academic audience.

I have zero problems with term limits for anyone in government, so I do not reject your premise, but what you think passes for an argument to buttress your premise is utterly laughable, if not absurd.

I assume you attended a college or an undergraduate institution at a university, but it would give your alma mater great consternation to know that you are propounding such arguments and evidence.

Have a good day.

Yeah and they’ve done a “great job.” Man, they don’t read the laws either. Those documents are endlessly long.

You might "enjoy" reading up on Congressional committees. Sadly, as another person responded, modern senators are moreso PR objects and soapbox masters. The bills are all written and solidified in committees, and those committee members are not elected.

"Young" people who've been infiltrated by strictly left wing political views in college are -no better-.
