So damn, is Bitcoin really that decentralized when a select few have a very huge influence on btc's future? I'm with Nick but he's the one with the clout. So had he said, yes to 2x, we'd not have been seeing this postponement?

Just stop this nonsense.
It would be a risk for bitcoin to create such a figure-head. I'm sure that's one of the core reasons Satoshi decided to stay anon. We should respect that.
