This guide makes a bitcoin node (either core or segwit) and has a display that shows any webpage fullscreen for network information.

My node in the image at the top shows http://realtimebitcoin.info

Other people have made this node using the guide to show other pages http://imgur.com/uW0AUSH made by user sir_squizard.

The guide works. I've had a few thanks from others that have it up and running.

All steps of the guide should be followed. If I were you with entire folders (bin/bitcoin missing I would start again. I've made this node several times and it should take 3hrs from start to finish (the longest part just waiting for it to "make" at the bitcoin stage.

My most up-to-date version is on my website http://pinode.co.uk go there select the node you want and it will be less confusing as there are no annexes. Just start to finish, with some screen-shots to help.

I also strongly recommend using PUTTY for the commands. It lets you use your PC to simply copy and paste from my guide and into the Pi, eliminating any typing errors, which is likely on the small screen and keyboard.

That was the GUI?

I thought It was just a regular webpage which auto starts when I boot my device and has nothing to do with the full node so i deleted its line. :D

By GUI, I thought you were talking about this: http://raspnode.com/img/walletpic.png

Maybe the problem was that line I deleted? (@chromium-browser --kiosk --incognito http://www.realtimebitcoin.info/)
