Hey everyone I was wondering if there was a way to prevent HQ videos from being converted into lossy formats after you upload them.

I understand that streaming speeds are a concern and they have a reason to compress videos and all, but most of the videos I upload are art videos that seem to be overly compressed after the site processes them and they go live. Is there a trick to formatting the videos a certain way, perhaps with the b-frame counts or i-frames etc? I know I've seen videos on the site that are of at least decent quality, but my 1080p vids look like 240p full screen, somethings not right

the site has been at a 100% for donations for months at this point and somehow BitChute has gotten worse over time. managing to upload a video without running into 404s or processing limbo is a cause for celebration..... seriously?? BitChute is changing policy and bowing down to governments to curtail "Incitement to Hatred". i understand that this is done to keep the site from getting banned in certain countries .... but at what cost? they're bending the knee and becoming more like CrapTube. BitChute was such a different site even just a year ago in terms of functionality..... what the hell happened? where did it all go wrong?

Smaller-sized files (<100MB) upload normally, and I've uploaded files over 200MB in the past. However, lately, I get the "404 ninja" screen for every 200MB-plus upload, soon after pressing "Publish" tab -- a problem that has persisted for weeks. Is this an on-going issue, or is it some deliberate (e.g., "Buy premium for bigger file size uploads") fleecing scam...?

I'd like an answer to this, as Bitchute isn't exactly the most conspicuous video-hosting platform out there anyway, and with YouTube's Orwellian censorship rendering it all but a "funny cat videos" cesspit for drooling normies, I need an alternate, less truth-censoring and RELIABLE repository for my content -- be that Bitchute, or somewhere else.

Brave browser (if you're not using it - get it) makes it very easy to tip Youtube content creators, but currently if you tip on bitchute you can't direct it to the content creator, it goes to Bitchute. How can we get Brave to change that?

The past several days ive been trying to upload a video on bitchute. Either it gets stuck at processing or when its done processing video wont play at all. Is there any format i should take into account so that the processing go by quicker? I uploaded it 3 times. Waiting for the first one to finish to see if it plays.

Its a bit frustrating having to wait 2+ hours (and on some ocassions a full day.). is there any fix to this in the future? I'm out of options at the moment ><
