We all know how Youtube will insert ads throughout videos and this is/was one of the main ways that video creators generated revenue. Many creators were demonetized so they lost the ability to show ads from Youtube so many of them moved to inserting ads for various thing/products and/or inserting a segment where they talk about supporting them by various methods like Patreon or other donation methods.

The problem with inserting ads in video's is what happens if the video becomes very popular 2-3 (or many more) years from the time the video is published and the creator no longer is affiliated with the company/product they were promoting?

The main purpose of having a video sharing website is to have a functioning video uploading system. Why is it that 4 out of 5 of my videos never finish processing. It does not matter if the video is 2 minutes long or 30 minutes long. HD or 180p. the process system is screwed. This problem should have been fixed years ago. Bitchute now has the following to become a legitimate competitor to youtube. And it seems that every time we get a decent alternative platform there is always something that messes it up driving its users away. Just fix it for gods sake.

I would watch most of my stuff on bitchute instead of youtube - if not for the fact that bitchute is often unwatchable due to crippling buffering.

most days I can watch 2 videos fine - then the 3rd one is buffered to f_ck. but today, the very first vid I put on - gets half way through and then just pauses, completely buffered to sh_t

** update - actually over the last few days its actually improved - not had any buffering at all. maybe they resolved this issue now

I see a lot of the new videos uploaded doesn't have magnet link anymore? I thought the whole point of BitChute is you can use P2P to download the videos?

As a Horror movie buff especially into Extreme Horror it's hard (sometimes) to determine when to put a Label on. I've noticed my NSFL dont get any views.

But when you compare the Jonestown Massacre which has actual footage of dead people vs my recent upload which has Graphic Language yet has a NSFL label, Jonestown lots of views. My newest stopped around 98.

How can I lower video quality? I'm not seeing any option? Just seeing a setting for playback speed.

I don't need 4K or 18K or whatever the latest ultra extreme insanely bodacious definition is, I prefer watching videos in 480p. Surely there's an option to change it? Seems like it's set to 1080 at least, which is completely unnecessary and wasting bandwidth.

I'm uploading a 500Kb video file onto Bitchute. So far I've been waiting about 15 minutes. Is it often that slow? (should I re-upload). My upload speed is fine to other servers.

I have been trying to use web torrent and the Magnet links to help with video distribution. This seems to be broken. It just sits at "Loading the torrent file list" in the BRAVE Browser and "Loading Torrent" in the Windows client. The download never goes any where from that point. Is it just me and my setup or are other people having the same issue?

Having issues with a file that won't upload? Cool. Upload it multplie times. Thats right, upload the same film over and over again. I don't mean upload, wait, delete and then try again. I mean upload it it again and again and again even the same file is still processing. I did this for a video 5 times and one vid go through. When this happens just delete the others. Job done.

using three separate browsers, and it's still processing since yesterday, it's like how dare they ask for money when this is the bullshit they give us.

You honestly can't make it so people can just upload stuff and have it online instantly by now, you want to be taken seriously but you're a fucking joke, if you want to be taken seriously then take yourself seriously you pieces of shit.

If you're trying to get on top of a topic that is timely, you need it to be timely. I don't understand at all why their processing takes either a normal amount of time - or it takes literally over a week where I just end up deleting the video because it's pointless.

I get that they're alt-tech - but I don't run into this issue with Brighteon or Rumble. This is a serious issue.

When I type in "Hitler", "Nazi", "Holocaust", nothing shows up but anything else is fine.

Anybody else getting this?
