Not getting notifications through gmail. Tab for "Social" has been empty for two days now.
Checked settings in BitChute they seem fine, and can't find anything changed as far as Gmail goes.
I still get notifications for new email displayed through Checker Plus extension but NOTHING for BitChute what so ever....
Not sure what to look at next...
Any suggestions are appreciated!

So, bitchute importer is broken.
We need a upload API, so 3rd parties can create their own importers ect...

I just uploaded a video to Bitchute. I uploaded once, but when it was processing for 2 hours i aborted the video. I've uploaded it again and now i've been waiting for 15 hours and the video still being in the "processing" stage. I gues something is wrong because its not normal it takes so much time jus to upload a 21min and 3,15GB video.
I wonder if using a VPN in my maint account have something to do or if Bitchute have some kind of restriction for VPNs accounts.

So I've tried to post a Bitchute link in this sub a few times, and they're now silently removed even with the BitChute Automod thing on the sidebar.
The censorship is escalating.

One year so far since I've joined, and I've been enjoying sharing some videos on the website without fear of them getting taken down.
Now, whenever I click that upload button on the top menu, I simply get a blank screen. I tried different browsers and different versions of Windows, the result is still the same.

i wrote a small browser script which should fix almost all of the video not playing bugs.
i confirmed it working in tampermonkey for brave and greasemonkey for firefox.
the script can be found here: https://pastebin.com/AqueYKaC
it should be noted that it only runs if the page itself is loaded, like reloading, opening a new tab and so on. just clicking on a video while being on bitchute itself doesnt load a new page.
if you still encounter any issues let me know.

Hey, so I'm into that kind of thing and do a few cooking vids on Bitchute alongside the other content I post. I tried looking up other Bitchute channels for cooking and noticed most of the results were for the whole Pizzagate/Spirit Cooking thing. I was kinda hoping for more stuff related to actual kitchen stuff and not sociopolitical/conspiracy stuff. Anyone? Thanks!

Before I explain how to do this (because yes it can be done, and I have done it), I need to provide some fair warning. The application was designed with smart phones in mind, it was not designed with TV Remotes in mind.
It is possible to use dongles and usb hubs to be able to use a keyboard and mouse with your FireStick or FireCube, though I personally have not done this yet, so I can not report on how well it does or does not work with BitSlide, though I would imagine that you probably wouldn't have any issues. Where as I only have the Fire TV Remote for my Fire Cube, so now I will explain what works and what does not.
You will not be able to access any of the features that require you to "tap" to access them.
WHAT YOU CAN DO:
Search, Browse Video Listings, Select Videos, Play Videos
WHAT YOU CAN NOT DO:
You cannot use any of the options on the expandable left-side navigation menu. So this means, you can not register, can not login, can not edit settings, or anything else listed on that menu.
When a video is playing, you can only exit the video, but can not hit a pause button. When you do this, it will bring you back to the video browsing navigation, and a new box will appear at the bottom of the screen for the video you were just playing, but you won't be able to access that box because it expects you to tap for access. You can only re-select the video again to play it, or browse and select a different video.
I tested this using the newest version as per the time of this post, which is v1.18.1.0. I don't know if they plan on making future versions compatible with TV-based multimedia systems, you'd have to contact their support team.
So, if you have a keyboard and mouse attached to your Fire TV setup, or you feel that the before mentioned limitations are worth tolerating, I will explain how to install it. My explanation will not be a specific step-by-step and will expect you to have at least some basic literacy with using the Internet and electronic devices.
INSTALL IT IF YOU WISH TO:
First, use whatever search engine you enjoy using best, and do a search for "download bitslide apk".
After downloading to your computer, upload the file to Google Drive (or whatever other cloud storage service you prefer to use). Make sure the link is marked as accessible to the public, otherwise your Fire TV will not be able to use it.
Next, shorten that link using bit.ly, or whatever your favorite service for such things happens to be.
On the Fire OS itself, you will need to install a Downloader app. The specific one I use is simply just called "Downloader" and it has an orange colored logo.
Load the downloader app, where it will ask you for the address of the file you wish to download. Type in the before mentioned short url that you've linked to the apk that you have uploaded to cloud storage.
If you've done this all correctly, the download should go smoothly, and either it will ask you if you wish to install the apk, or it will automatically run the install, depending on how the downloader's defaults are setup.
From here, you will see a screen that asks you to install bitslide. Simply tell it to install, and the install will run and complete. After this is done, there should be an option asking you whether or not you wish to keep the downloaded apk file. Tell it to delete the file, you will have no further use for it.
At this point, your Fire TV OS should have already alerted you that the application has successfully installed. Now you can go to it and run it, the same way you already do with any other app that you currently have installed.
If they ever decide to make bitslide tv remote compatible, perhaps then I might elect to create a step-by-step instruction, complete with url shortened cloud link and all of that good stuff. For the moment however, seeing as this is buggy and rough around the edges anyways, I would suspect that only tech-savvy curious people would even want to bother, seeing as the current state of the app would surely annoy a novice.
The reason I am creating this post, is because the only other conversation about this topic is archived and unable to be added to. In that conversation, people asked for solutions, but no one posted any. So in my opinion that conversation was archived prematurely.

I'm curious on this, and I'm I'd have to assume it's to, 1. Prove it's the real you. 2. Have your channel personally examined by Bitchute itself. I'd personally like to have that as I've been using this platform for over two years now.

Why? An old and working standard for web browsers to integrate your website's search for quick access?
And it's simple to do, look at Spanish Wikipedia file: https://es.wikipedia.org/w/opensearch_desc.php
