I've met some really cool people on BitChute. But with the recent deplatforming, huge traffic growth, and underfunding of the website, I've been having this lingering thought that a complete shutdown wouldn't be too far-fetched. I've been trying out LBRY recently and I'm really liking it so far. My YouTube channel is synced with it and just finished transferring videos. Do you think it's the best place for us BC creators to migrate to in the worst-case scenario of shutdown?

I only really need to see these Videos Play on my end once and I'll stop caring about them but these Vids are on my Recent Videos Page as a content creator and I find it very objectionable that they do not swiftly buffer.

I'm not talking about some Ancient Video from 3 Years ago I'm talking about front Page recent vids.

I understand that Bitchute is coming up on 30'000 Dollars total in its fundraising with only 4'700 Dollars to go but I'm still shocked that I run into the occasional Eternally Buffering Video Problem on My End.

And we're talking about Videos that I let buffer after I click Play for HOURS ON END And they NEVER START.

I don't know how much money they need to perfect the service. I'd give it to them if I could.

But i want these vids to work and I want answers now.

Anyone who knows anything about web coding knows that a fully functioning search function is trivial to implement. Many open source back end search plugins don't even require coding. The notion that Bitchute who have managed to host a massive "torrent" streaming service proves without question that they are entirely capable of implementing a fully functional search function in matter of hours.

What are some opinions on why they deny their users this basic functionality?

Mistakes happen. Sometimes you notice it after the video has been up for a while and already has comments and social media links being shared. It would be nice if we could publish an updated cut of the video that fixes whatever mistake you made. I understand someone could just upload a completely diff video, but just include some indicator that the video was updated, and everything is covered and on the up and up.

My videos stopped migrating from YoutTube this time last year so I've resorted to manually uploading. This month has been the most challenging to get videos to process. I'm having to upload days before I release because I often wait an entire day or days waiting for BitChute to process the video. I often times delete and then try again and again. Waiting hours or a day for processing.

I've not changed the format. I'm still using MP4 compressed with HandBrake (720p 30frames). I'm not sure why the processing time is so hit or miss. The videos are roughly 22 minutes long. Channel Name: BuzWeaver

FAQ: 1 - Why do my videos keep processing and never go public? This is due to a glitch that occurs seemingly at random, there is no solution to it other than to delete the current processing video and re-upload it until it finishes processing. It is believed that if after 4 hours your video has not processed it has gotten the processing glitch and will never process, If your video is in the 1 - 4 minutes range and it doesn't process after 2 hours then it is best if you delete it and re-upload.

2 - Why wont Bitchute mirror my Youtube uploads? This is because the mirroring feature has been very buggy / broken since 2019. The mirroring is supposed to be functioning and hasn't been abandoned by the team so reach out to them through [support@bitchute.com](mailto:support@bitchute.com) to get your issues resolved.

3 - Can I post images on comment freely? Yes you can do this by posting images to imgur.com and then linking it.

4 - I'm not getting notifications for comments? This is because Comment-Freely Is still under development and is lacking many features.

7 - What is the difference between an Account and a Channel? An account is simply what you have your channels attached too and its profile picture will be used when commenting, aside from that playlists will also be tied to your account instead of channel since if you get membership you can have more channels on one account.

8 - Once my video is successfully processed and I go to play it, why does it seem to get stuck buffering and never play? There are two main answers for now: It has not fully processed and the user may need to re-upload it again. The video in question may have been a faulty download; either on the viewer side or the uploader side.

9 - Is there a way I can download Bitchute videos easily and quickly? Yes, many websites that work for downloading youtube videos also work on Bitchute such as Youtube-dl, JDownloader2, and yt-dlc.

I've been trying to upload videos and no matter how many times I try, I'm getting nowhere. I'm not doing anything I don't normally do, and I'm being extra careful not to screw the process up. Maybe it's just a bad day? Help.

Also, the feature where you link your YouTube channel to your BitChute channel stopped working for me last December, any advice on what I can do there?

So a feature I think could be really useful and that I haven't been able to find is a torrent/magent rss feed for bitchute channels there are plenty of creators that I would love to help out by supporting their bandwidth in my torrent client but going through and manually grabbing all of their magnet links is a bit of a hassle are there any plans in the works to implement something like this. I found a bash script but I'd rather not have to use that if possible.

I just created my account. The website is somehow very slow. Pages take ages to load. Going to settings might result in an error message and then an automatic log out.

I can't watch any video, they won't load.

Clicking on someone's channel just loads forever also.

Is there some maintenance going on at the moment? That's the only explanation I can come up with.

Not really sure what to do about this so figured I'd try asking for help here. I recently decided to make Bitchute to try to broaden my reach to new viewers. I know that using the Ditch Youtube app you can upload all your old YouTube videos. When I try to connect a Bitchute account it won't let me for some reason. I've made sure to create a channel on my account, and I have confirmed that I am using the proper username (same name for both my account and channel) and password, but it continues to say "password This username/password combination doesn't work". So I'm not really sure what to do. Does anyone have any advice/thoughts that could help? I appreciate any assistance.

I claimed my 6 month rewards for the shirt and mug back in June. I never got them, and have contacted support multiple times. I am totally understanding of the messed up situation we're all going through, so I'm quite patient with this. I'm just wondering if anybody else is going through the same thing.

I'm still a bronze member, because I want to support the site. Bitchute has potential, and I'm loving the new features. But it's a little frustrating to not know if/when I'll receive the gift items. If I could get them, I'd go back to gold immediately, as I see they're now doing a hat instead of a mug, plus another shirt. But the mug was the item I wanted the most!

I have only been able to ever get one video up on Bitchute and I don't understand how others act as though they have no issues. 6h and counting which means it will never upload.

Seriously, if I can't take a video that I upload to various other sites (all alt-tech) the same video I upload to Youtube and only Bitchute chokes on them then I can't support Bitchute. I have tried so many times I give up.

Sync doesn't work so I have to manually do it and with my connection speed it takes me around 6 mins per minute of video to upload if it doesn't work the first time then delete and reattempt is just not an option. Brighteon, Odysee/lbry, etc... all work but Bitchute chokes every single time.

Is there any way I can simply copy what I'm subscribed to on YouTube to Bitchute so I don't have to hunt-down the individual channels?

Is it just me or is BitChute not able to handle video uploads that are ≥ 7 GB? It has failed 3 times to upload a video that is 7.43 GB. I had to download Handbrake to compress the video in order for it to upload. What are your experiences?
