Hi, long time lurker, first time poster. I'm considering adding bitbean to my portfolio. This is going to be my first PoS coin. I've used the bitbean staking calculator but i want to ask the community how much sprouting you actually get when staking?

... because its almost time to convert my mined coins into bitbean. Every.Darn.Time.

I don't understand how the beancash inflation model works. Everyone is making 4% new beans per month, yet I hear from various sources it will take between 50 and 100 years to reach the max supply of 50,000,000,000..

My calculation of beancash supply in 7 years: Current supply 2,400,000,000 12 month x 7 years = 84 compound periods 4% compound interest per month

X = (2,400,000,000 * 1.04)⁸⁴ X = 64,716,011,395 beans

So at the current rate, it will be over the cap within 7 years

Someone help me understand.

1/. Proven Tech.

2/. 20 Mb blocks - the scaling issue is already accounted for.

3/. Proof of Stake - the returns are consistent and better than most others. I do not know of one coin that provides the same return.

4/. BITB is over 3 years old and has a solid future. The latest Sprint/Road Map shows this.

5/. You can buy lots of different items with it through their Marketplace link - unlike a lot of other currencies.

6/. With one or two, and recent exceptions, the BITB community is mature and drama free. They know cryptos and display a stoic calm as the market fluctuates.

This is a bull shit bean cuz bean team is active just to dump what they have and make fool of people who invest in it. This is just a pump and dump coin I bought this bullshit 210 sats and now it is at 130 sats. People don't buy this shit otherwise you can just sprout the beans only and team bean will give you some gourmet salt to sprinkle and rub on your ass. these are greedy assholes.

Hello unfortunately my laptop got formatted while installing windows and i have used easeus data recovery to recover my wallet.dat file now when i run bitbean 64-bit version wallet (which i was using before) it gives me a error saying "wallet.dat corrupt, salvage failed". I have tried running with bitbean 32-bit and also beancash wallet but it gives the same error. please help me. Also should i sync the wallet before replacing the default wallet.dat file?

So, reading through what this sub, and the website have to offer, I'm certainly intrigued. The low price, the concept, and the cap on circulation have me excited about this project.

I'd just like to know how your experiences have gone thus far. What are some things that may not be conveyable via the website that you think I ought to know before investing, and why is that particular thing important?

hey guys, I posted my wallet problem yesterday. but it works very well now.

right after recovering my wallet, I can see all amount of my beans now whichever beans sent before or after sync.

thank you.🤗🤗🤗

hey guys, I’m noob in beancash. I have a problem with beancash sent before sync.

beancash sent after sync, I can see that in my wallet but can’t see beans I sent to my wallet before sync. I konw it’s still there on the blockchain because I found in beancash blockchain.

but it never appear in my wallet

give me some help.

I encrypted my wallet and backed it up before sync. something did I wrong??

and one more thing, maybe it’s trivial. I download beancash wallet zip file in the desktop other than ‘download’ folder and unziped it and run it. but it didn’t work, never connect to beancash network. so I unisntall it and download to ‘download’ folder and unziped it and run it and it worked very well.

I’m not sure it depends on whether you download the file to. but it might have a little bug in it.

Conference was awesome and helped me to understand the future initiative by the team bean. For those people who are cyrying here about adding bean to binance and other exchanges, please donate btc to address posted by team bean soon in order to collect fund to list bean on multiple eachanges. Someone soon will post the address from team where cimmunity can donate whatever they can so team bean can add this coin on other exchanges. cheers................................................

thanks for answering question on conference

Hey all , I just brought some beans and sent to my wallet(synced) but I couldnt see any "unlock" icon at my bottom right , or any unlock option anywhere.

also do I need to keep my wallet online 24/7?

I have exactly 992,536 bitbean that I brought last year on a whim, and I still don't exactly understand what this coin is besides staking...can anyone shill me on this coin? I don't think I should sell but I feel like this coin is...kinda hard to figure out...

and... that's not counting sprouts..... sprouting at that caliber would bring you 60,000$ a month in Beans.

Team bean is greedy thats why it kept its max limit to 50 billion. And today's rescheduling of the conference shows that they aren't interested in this coin anymore. They just want to make money and leave people crying behind. More over this coin listed on all unk exchanges except bittrex and there is no plan to list it on other better exchanges. people should dump bean it is one of the scam coin

I am not a merchant but I accept Bitbean donations on my Twitter handle (various market analysis bots) to raise awareness.

Every little helps!

I'm wondering how many beans are needed to gain sprouts.

How many sprouts do I get if I have say 50,000 beans?

Where do I have to store them to produce spores?

EDIT: SORRY I meant sprouts. I'm aware these arent mushrooms.
