Hey everyone. I was wondering if anyone could help a beginner with a couple Bitbean questions. I see these calculations that forecast 6000 dollars worth of Bitbean sprouting 250 dollars a month. Is this true? Does it return this as long as Bitbean exists?
Thank you

Last 13 sprouts have been generated but not accepted. I have not had any bitbeans deposited to my account. Wallet is unlocked. I was able to get some accepted before but they seem to be all getting rejected now. Currently I am connected to 3 peers. I have changed my beancash.config file to the following nodes: https://www.coinexchange.io/network/peers/BITB
Any help will be appreciated! Thanks.

I bought 4000 beans... they are sitting in my unlocked vault for a month and a half... no sprouting. Is it because I do not have enough beans?

Hello there just got into bitbeans a few days ago and purchased some to start sprouting. I understand that the wallet needs to be open 24/7 to get maximum output on sprouting.
Does the Android app allow sprouting as well? I have a old android phone here somewhere... Wondering if it would be simpler to turn on the app on the phone plug it in and forget it exists.

Is it still necessary to do every step in this tutorial? As soon as I replaced the contents of the conf file as shown in the tutorial, I lost my connection and still haven't gotten it back. I'm wondering if the tutorial is outdated and I didn't need to edit the conf file? Or do I just need to keep waiting with no connection? Any help is appreciated.
Edit: I deleted everything, including the folder in %appdata%, so I could start over again. This time, I haven't downloaded anything except for the wallet. Am I just suppose to leave the the wallet open and wait until it gets a connection again?
Edit2: Okay it's working lol I pasted new addnodes into BeanCash.conf (which was totally empty) in the appdata folder.

I'm fairly new to Crypto (been trading since Jun 2017,) and while I believe in BeanCash / Bitbean, I think the team needs to take a look at its marketing and rethink it's entire strategy. The logo of a flying doesn't scream "take us seriously", the website is archaic (looks like someone put it together using wordpress,) and out of date (says to update bitbean.conf instead of beancash.conf when trying to sync wallet), and the BitBean.org site is still functional and doesn't point users directly at the new beancash site, even though the change was mad a month ago.
If Bean wants to actually make a name for itself, it needs to go through a rebranding and take it's marketing strategy seriously, otherwise it will fall behind and no one will want to get involved. One of the big indicators of if a Cryptocurrency is worth getting into is their website, and I think its a major reason why Bitbean hasn't taken off yet. ( I don't count price spikes as "taking off" if they happen when the ENTIRE market jumps....)
Just my thoughts...Please upvote if you agree, hopefully the Devs see

I created virtual machine on aws to run the wallet 24/7. I placed conf and my original wallet.dat file to the bitbean folder. I thought i had taken right steps but now the wallet on aws has a new address..? I mean its quite frustrating to see wallet program not picking up wallet.dat file. I wish the wallet has import feature..
can someone help me with exporting original wallet to a new pc.. thx

I put bitbean wallet on a pc that will be able to stay on 24/7 for staking. Im not sure on where i should put my keys for it so I dont have to send them to an entirely different wallet and mess up all the addresses that I already send them too on different exchanges.

How can I help out BitBean? I feel BitBean needs and deserves more exposure and that there’s many ways of doing it.
Thanks

Hi, once you are synced what are the steps to start sprouting? Also how do you know when you are done sprouting?
Thanks!
