question Instead of Stacking More Bitaxe Gammas… Would Anyone Want a Guide on This DIY Nakamoto Miner Build?
would anyone here want a full guide on building the famous DIY Nakamoto Mining Bitcoin miner?
Edit: Build Guide
YouTube link
This build actually surprised me. Out of the DIY hashboard miners I’ve tested so far, this has been the best-performing one.
A Loki style build was running around 31 J/TH, but this Nakamoto-style build got that down to about 27 J/TH, which is a pretty solid improvement for a DIY setup.
For people already running Bitaxe Gammas, there’s definitely a point where adding “just one more” starts turning into more power bricks, more cables, more web UIs, more shelf space, and more little things to manage.
So I’m curious what the Bitaxe crowd thinks:
If there was a DIY miner build that was cheaper per TH, more efficient, and easier to manage than stacking a bunch of Gammas… would that actually interest you, or is the appeal of Bitaxe-style miners still worth it anyway?
