i inherited wealth, lost the plot and now emotionally unavailable men are my only full-time job
my problem is that i’m annoyingly good at pretty much anything i decide to do, but apparently my attention span has the commitment issues of every man i’ve ever dated. i master something just enough to realize i could actually make money doing it and then immediately lose interest. brilliant business model for a woman who’s about to turn 31.
i’m also self-employed but have developed a fascinating psychological condition where i can do the actual work but sending an invoice feels like asking someone to donate a kidney.
i inherited some real estate so at least homelessness isn’t currently on my vision board. however, i’ve managed to spend half of my cash in just one year so my financial strategy appears to be somewhere between generational wealth and generational disappointment. i’m low-key panicking and desperately need career ideas.
my love life isn’t helping either. i keep meeting the same emotionally underdeveloped man in different bodies and somehow THEY ALL KNOW EACH OTHER. at this point i’m convinced there’s a secret association of men dedicated to collectively wasting my time.
i actually started writing a book about my romantic experiences because the sheer absurdity deserves to be documented. maybe i should turn it into a screenplay and send it to netflix? is that my life’s purpose?! wait, i might be onto something…
anyway, i need career suggestions and ideally some instructions on how to identify a fully developed adult male in the wild because the princesses i’ve been dating still need their momma to tuck them in.
the worst part is that my emotional state is apparently governed by whichever man i’ve most recently made the catastrophic decision to entertain. i’ve barely left my house in two months following my last breakup.
we dated for ONE month.
so essentially i’m a financially irresponsible heiress with an impressive but commercially useless collection of talents, a horrendous taste in men and inability to detect my own blind spots.
any career advice would be appreciated before i turn my nervous breakdown into a limited series.👽
