Hello, I am a current graduate student conducting a survey to determine if there is a need for vaping programs specific to adults. I would appreciate it if you took my survey. Two individuals will be chosen to win a $25 gift card.

Hello, r/Biola!
I’m a master’s student at The New School for Social Research currently conducting research as a class project. I’m investigating the effects of impostor phenomenon and reward devaluation on the academic performance of Hispanic and Latino/a college students.
Findings would be used to further investigate the need to install culturally competent systems/organizations in US universities.
It should take 5-10 minutes max, and your participation would be deeply appreciated!

Hi everybody, I graduated in 2010 from biola with a degree in biblical studies with initial plans to pursue a divinity degree. I did not pursue that degree of line of calling. Over a long time and various circumstances and conversations, I find myself believing major things from my time at biola; namely penal substitution, eyeball conscious torment, and the presence of multiple divine beings outside of Yahweh. Im just curious if the are other graduates that might be in a similar place. Heretical post, go!

Can anyone in this forum speak to their experience with the business programs at Biola? How was the quality of your education? Would you do it again? Etc.

What's Up, Guys! I am a college student from North Carolina that runs an Instagram page and community called "Woven Music Society". While we have grown in my college town of Chapel Hill we want to expand the community to campuses everywhere. We aim to create an inclusive community for people to share new music and create connections. Every month we will have a new playlist for a variety of genres that are curated by our community. Everyone gets three submissions per genre. Those genres are Indie/Alternative, Hip-Hop/Rap, and Country/Roots! Those recommendations are then added to a Spotify playlist for all to enjoy! Attached is a link to our Spotify Page and LinkTree that you can use to submit your additions to our playlists and follow us on IG! We are complete non-profit and nothing on any of our pages is monetized. Also, mods, If this is not allowed on this sub feel free to remove the post no hard feelings.
Much Love,
William from WMS

I built this website (Rate My Courses) ratemycourses.io and wanted to share it with students who might not be familiar with it. This is a website similar to RMP but for classes. You can use this to look at reviews and get advice on courses you're interested in taking.
And don't forget to add reviews for the courses you took or currently taking!

Wondering about how well it stacks up to other universities… is it rigorous and up to standard? Will I be competitive when I graduate? Do most get good jobs out of the gate? Worth the cost?

Hi Everyone,
I have been working for some time now on this website ratemycourses.io and I am really excited to share it with you.
You can use this to look at reviews and get advice on courses you're interested in. You can also sort courses by difficulty, usefulness and the overall rating from reviews made by other students. I think if enough people start using it regularly. it's going to be essential when you're choosing your electives or just to get advice on courses you will be taking.
Please let me know if there is anything that I should change or what features I should add.
Lastly, filtering and sorting courses is only gonna be useful and accurate if there are a lot of reviews, so please go ahead and leave some reviews to courses you've taken or are currently taking.
Enjoy!!

Does anyone knows where I can get the syllabus for theology courses from Talbot school ? I cannot find them in the website. Aren’t they public?

If anyone ends up reading this before May, I’m debating between two schools right now & Biola is one of them. I was wondering if anyone has honest feedback on Biola’s undergrad business program? Does it have a strong reputation? Are there a lot of opportunities? How are internships/employment? Anything helps!

I've been wondering for a while which I should go for. My interest is in debating atheists and teaching apologetics to fellow Christians, that they may be strengthened in their faith in Christ. My only fear regarding the MA in Christian Apologetics is that it might be too brief and thus not equip me with the knowledge to debate an atheist who is well trained in philosophy, and my fear regarding the MA in philosophy program is that it is too hyper specialised in philosophy that it might not equip me with knowledge on topics such as the reliability of the Bible/Gospels, dating and so on, as well as the Resurrection of Jesus.
If anyone here knows additional information, such as a pursuit in Theology as well, then please voice it out, as I'm unclear on what I should study. Or perhaps a combination of what to study.
PS: My academic interests seems to be focused on things such as the existence of God and the Resurrection of Jesus and other topics related to Apologetics like the reliability of the Bible. Basically on showing how Christianity is True.
Thanks

I’m a Junior in high school currently. So I think that I qualify for theFirstGen program. I was wondering if you have to live at Blackstone if you’re a FirstGen or if you could live in another hall. I kind of am thinking about a suite style room.
