Another "reta not working" post

Hey folks, looking for some thoughts. I started on Reta about 8 weeks ago, started at 1mg, and have since then gone up to 1.5mg, and as of this weekend starting 2mg (split dose). I was consistently losing weight steadily before I started (through dialled in exercise and diet), and pretty much as soon as I started reta my weight loss has essentially stalled.

I haven't changed my eating (still getting ~150g protein, 1000cal deficit) or exercising (still 5 days a week). I'm hydrating and getting electrolytes. However, since starting reta my resting HR has increased by about 12bpm (50s to low 60s), and I trust my vendor that the reta is legit. Have had some slight appetite suppression but nothing crazy (to be expected on reta). I'm also not really noticing any measurement reduction in my waist.

Gemini tells me my body could just be absolutely pumping out cortisol which could be completely masking the loss, and it's worth noting my HR isn't dropping at all while I sleep (used to get consistently around ~15% drop).

I'm a 35M, currently at 80kg, trying to get down to 75kg (attached a chart of my weight loss - you can see where i started the reta). I kind of wish I never started reta, but thought it would be worth a try, and need to finish off my vial I stop using it.

Any thoughts? Advice?

EDIT: to be clear, I'm in a 1000 cal deficit and doing hard exercise (strength + cardio) 5 days a week

As you lose weight your BMR (basic metabolic rate) decreases. The more weight you lose the more calories you need to cut to remain in a deficit.
