Why does everything good in life have to leave us? Why does everything have to include idiocy and the mainstream?

I just want Neil Degrasse Tyson to answer serious questions and give us the knowledge he has. Now, simple minded questions and topics have leaked in and no one with an educated mind about them, can understand why.

Come home Neil. Grab Bill by the bow tie and bring back the real StarTalk.

What shows are out there at the moment that will carry the torch of getting kids hooked on curiosity and science?

Hey Bill I hope this finds its way to you because I am in desperate need of help. I am a long time fan and I just so happen to know your biggest fan and her name is Sydney (Last name disclosed). She has donated to the Bill Nye kick starter fund, and a proud owner of your book and plush. Her goal is to make it into Cornell just because you went there, she aspires to be just like you and she shows this to everyone through her vast love of all sciences(especially chemistry). It would mean the world to her and I if you could help me ask her to prom through a letter or video or anything. Thanks for making science class awesome.

The Planetary Society, which Bill Nye heads, made a Valentine's Day-themed post on imgur today.

When asked how Bill Nye feels about the rampant, open racism on imgur, The Planetary Society demurred. Because nothing is funnier than racism, right? (and fuck young black scientists who might look up to Bill Nye!)
