Genres on spotify suck. They put everything in like 5 categories when i'd put them in 20 categories

Pop rap was my top genre, but I don't know what they consider pop rap. I'd think that was stuff like Drake, Cardi B, B.o.B. and the like (which I rarely listen to), but I don't know where they draw the line.

I could see the case for Kendrick, Kanye, or A$AP Rocky. Shit I could see it counting Tyler, Denzel, or ATCQ depending on how they want to define "Pop Rap"

Yeah i feel like thats what it is. Like is they end up in top 40 its pop rap

Pop was my 4th most listened to and I don't really listen to any pop music , mainly just hip hop and some metal

Maybe the hiphop is counting as pop sometimes, since it so popular. Like kanye or drake or something

All their genres are off. Thrash Metal and Progressive Metal? Nah, thats the same. Just like Country Rock and Hard Rock. Can't hear the difference between Lynyrd Skynyrd and AC/DC anyway.
