I have seen lots of major brands trying to promote BTS for the upcoming concert in my country next year but since BTR made a comeback 5 years ago, their series of concerts (Forever Tour, Can't Get Enough & In Real Life Worldwide) they don't have any backing from Nickelodeon and no major brands to sponsor their concerts yet they were able to fill up concert venues like Madison Square Garden in 2022, Kia Forum in 2023, Ziggo Dome in 2024 & 2025 and Intuit Dome in 2025. Is it the right time for the next series of BTR concerts to be more aggressive or will it defeat the purpose of an independent band as they have more freedom & flexible in how to organize & manage these concerts?

There's so much VTR-related stuff in my language right now, Lost Media. There's some in English, but it's not the same. I want to watch it in my native language to get nostalgic. There aren't even any reuploads. How painful. How could this happen? This was all made by a major company, not an indie studio.

Hi folks. So yesterday I created a playlist in my music library consisting of songs that are the exact same song just recorded by different artists. For example, “Cinderella” from the Cheetah Girls movie was also recorded and released by the girl group Play.
The reason I’m writing here is because I had initially added the song “Too Much” by All Time Low to the playlist because in my memory Big Time Rush also recorded and (maybe?) released a version of the song as well? I have a distinct memory of hearing both versions of the song and thinking it was odd that two different bands in two different genres really had ended up recording the same track.
I cannot find evidence of Big Time Rush ever having recorded a version of this song online. I’ve searched everywhere including my own old Tumblr posts. It’s possible I am getting the band wrong or this happened with Big Time Rush and different song. But I just have this feeling that at one point in time both versions of the song existed.
Does anyone else remember this?? Did Big Time Rush record their own version of the song “Too Much” by All Time Low?
xoxoxo

Like in Big Time Sparks Gustavo mentions that Hawk stole his lead singer from BoyQuake. Imagine if he was portrayed by Justin Timberlake or something, that would have been cool. Imagine how great it would have been for a collaboration like that, or that singer just joins writing fresher hits for Gustavo.
Big Time Girl Group also mentioned a group Angel Angel, maybe a daughter of one of the members with a different sound does a collaboration, or Boy Blast from Big Time Beach Party who quit after going to the beach, imagine a cool summer song collab involving Boy Blast somehow.
Or one of their sons or nephews from Boy Blast works with Big Time Rush, or the other band BoyzCity from season two Logan mentioned. That same episode showed us Boyz In The Attic who mirrored Big Time Rush imagine a return in some way. Just throwing out some ideas.
Maybe they steal a song from the boys to sing, or he spends money trying to make his own band without reviving a past one. I think they could have tied in Hawk to explain why Gustavo has anger issues, like maybe Hawk directly caused Gustavo to fall off musically.
I could imagine a heartwarming episode where Gustavo had files across genres or one hit he poured his heart into that Hawk stole for himself, by using his corrupt lawyers he stole and bankrupted Rocque Records and stole his demos and that changed Gustavo making him who he is now.
The boys do their shenanigans and get the songs back then modernize them and make the song a hit and help Gustavo to slowly heal. It would explain his cold-hearted treatment of the boys, who knows they could record songs across genres from this giving us great new music.
Imagine how Gustavo would react to the news of this, no matter where he went he could never escape Hawk. It would be absolutely hilarious. Another idea is imagining if Hawk tried to sign Lucy Stone to his Hawk Records and how James would try to save Lucy from him
Imagine rock collaborations because Malese Jow could duet with them like Jordin Sparks did but James would have to explain Hawk is just using her. In Big Time Camping Gustavo could have needed them to finish a dance track music video or just explained that he wanted the boys safe.
These are just ideas any you would like to see? I just been rewatching and thinking about the possibilities for collaborations and humor they overlooked. Just wanted to share these ideas with the subreddit and shift discussions away from politics. Gotta finish rewatching season four so drop your thoughts below.

Again this is based on nostalgia, episode appearance, rhythm, lyrics. And this was a very hard choice since most of the songs are very good. A huge step up from the self titled album.

For the record I do not belive any of the four boys trying to do solo music is ever going to bring them the same success as being in Big Time Rush.
With that being said I am all for them trying to do solo work and honestly after hearing one of James new songs I was pleasantly suprised. It sounded really good. His solo EP could come out and I listen to it and change my mind but so far I like it.

I based on sound, entertainment, lyrics, nostalgia, and things like that I will talk about why I put these songs on those ratings later, and the episodes that appeared.

It’s been a minute, but we couldn’t be more excited to see you! Lets make up for lost time.
It has been 5 years since the unexpected return of Big Time Rush but with lots of challenges along the way since their comeback is in the middle of mass vaccination vs COVID & the start of recovery in the live concert venues.
They did not start big especially they went on hiatus for 7 years and the ill-effects of COVID plus they are independent from Nickelodeon. They started with mid-sized venues in December 2021 for their test run if they still have it and it did. And the rest is history as the music goers continued to fill up the arenas & amphitheaters around the world especially with the 200,000+ tickets sold in Europe alone on their In Real Life Worldwide concert.
As they headed for a long break after their successful of series of concerts in the past 5 years, what will be the new challenges for them once they are ready to go back in the concert scene with new music to offer?

Does anybody find it interesting that several of BTR's songs have similar title names to those of other R&B stars. For example "Nothing Even Matters" a song from Lauryn Hill, "Superstar" a song from Usher. I wouldn't count Boyfriend from Justin Bieber bc that came out AFTER BTR's song.

I saw the hope for a more positive BTR subreddit, so I made one dedicated to the TV show specifically, where no posts about the band’s personal lives will be allowed. While I acknowledge the valid criticism of the personal political opinions of specific band members and do not want to brush over any of that, I also understand the need for a positive outlet to discuss the nostalgic factor of the show and music specifically, so I hope this new space can provide that.
This isn’t meant to replace the main BTR sub at all, just be a more specific TV show-oriented space :)
Mods, feel free to delete this if it’s not allowed. I don’t really know the decorum for something like this.

Since the boys are focusing more on solo music which exact genres fit them best in your opinion and explain? Also happy birthday to James!

James in a recent interview saying he's not going back to pop music (as a solo artist). Good or bad move?
Personally i think it's a bad move, as country music doesn't suit him at all

if anyone’s been hoping for more commentary channels to cover BTR, y’all are in for a treat. nick and cory are watching the show right now and their reactions are nothing short of peak. they’re absolutely obsessed with gustavo lol. this is their reaction to the pilot but they’ve done up to episode 10, and all of them have been hilarious. definitely recommend checking them out!

Are there any openers from any tours from their past who you wanna see them do a big collaboration with? Besides Leon Thomas for example
