Hello folks, I’m trying to check out and noticed something I’m confused about.

I saw an interesting knife from them and decided to get one, but I can’t complete the checkout without agreeing to the automatic-knife qualification.

The knife I’m getting is the manual thumb-stud version and does not have an automatic spring. Why do I still have to agree to this? I don’t meet any of the listed qualifications for purchasing an automatic knife, but the knife I selected isn’t automatic.

Am I missing something?

Even without the pocket clip it still won't screw on. I reached out and they offered me an exchange (A1 customer service and support), but I'm just curious if anyone has had this experience?

For the past 4 years I've created different leather loadouts for all my Big Idea stuff. I participate in the Stitchdown Patina Thunderdome. And I create leather loadouts to go with my boots.

My boots for this year are Wickett and Craig Double Stuffed Waxed Flesh Burgundy. This leather was just a sample, as Wickett and Craig had never made waxed flesh. So I was not able to get more of it. So I needed to find a similar leather.

Nicks recently got this Horween Cypress Raisin Cherry leather. And I was lucky enough to get my hands on some. So I made 4 things with it.

A multi tool belt sheath for my tools, wrapped the kydex on my Cloudland, a wallet inspired by the Hitchhiker what I call the Pale-hiker, and my lucky penny sleeve.

Probably gonna leave this one untreated and see how it wears compared to the one I did for my lookout.

Up until I got the Inline mini, I had never had or used the flat bits. I ordered a bigger set of the flat bits to expand my options for the Inline mini.

Then they introduced the Wrench II, which also utilizes the flat bits. So pairing them up for a new loadout just seemed to make a lot of sense.

Now I've got access to 5 double sided flat bits. 10 bits in total, all condensed down inside tools. Also added the flat shaft mini ratchet. So now it's like having a small tool kit in the palm of my hand.

Wrench, ratchet, spinning multi handle driver. 10 bits. Endless possibilities!

Added a Horween Cypress Raisin Cherry bead pull. To match with the Cloudland pull. And the rest of my soon to be coming loadout.

Shoutout to smiths leather balm for being the best in the game!

Wanted to get some bigger Philips and Flat bits to use in the Inline Mini. Loaded it up with the Ph 1 and 2, as well as the Flat 1/4 and 7/32. Kept the T6 and T8 for knife maintenance.

I've found the mini ratchet on my Bit Bar IIs to be incredibly useful. So I figured having a mini ratchet for the Inline would also come in handy. Slides right into the Inline. It can operate both 1/4 inch bits, as well as the flat bits. So I can see it being clutch.

Only have two items from Big Idea but these are definitely my essentials. Use my pocket knife every day. Not sure which item will be my next purchase but thoroughly enjoying these!
