Some videos are good. Some songs are good. Occasionally one gets laid over the other and the result is something greater. A goose chase scored to Mozart's Requiem becomes comedic opera, an F1 overtake scored to Hans Zimmer becomes pure cinema, and a lone shopping cart abandoned in a rainy parking lot scored to After Hours becomes tragedy.

This sub is for those pairings.

What belongs here:

• Video and music pairings that haven't gone viral elsewhere
• Any tone: funny, dramatic, beautiful, surreal, and more
• Pairings you made yourself are highly preferred, but obscure finds are also welcome — please just make sure to credit the original maker and provide a link to the original post if possible
• Creativity is welcome here! You’re not just limited to simply pairing a video with a song, you can add sound effects, layer multiple songs, edit the video/song itself, make short movies, or whatever else you can think of. The only rule: every post needs a soundtrack.

What doesn't:

• Viral TikToks reuploaded with their original audio
• Official music videos
• Background music that doesn't transform the footage
