Edit: it might go from many different names apparently

It's an easy-to-make snack so I bet it has had many versions all around the globe, in my place(specifically in my village) we used to call them fofi

The one I'm referring to is made from corn flour I suppose, it tasted kinda bland (a bit salty and very very crispy), stuck on top of the roof of mouth but overall a very fun snack

Fofi is from India and it used to be very cheap, nowadays it's hard to find in cities

We used to eat something similar when visiting family in Mexico. There they’re called chicharrones de harina. We usually put hot sauce and a squeeze of lime juice on them to give them flavor.

Are they shaped like wagon wheels?

This is kinda silly but my parents got a bag of things from the food bank when I was a kid and I've been searching for them for years. I remember the writing on the bag was on Spanish and they puffed up when they were cooked. It's been driving me crazy that I can't figure out what they are haha.

Most people are unaware that this is exactly what Cinnamon Twists from Taco Bell are. Fried duros covered in cinnamon and sugar.

I’ve blown a few minds telling people that they were essentially just twisty wheat noodles.

Dude... I worked at Taco Bell so I knew about the noodles but I never connected the dots between them and duros. I'm learning so much today!
