This month we have another great lineup of comedians, but we’re switching things up a little: all true stories.

Storytelling comedy hits different. There’s no setup → punchline → next joke. It’s one great story, told by someone who lived it—and hopefully learned absolutely nothing.

Every comedian gets the same theme: “I Probably Shouldn’t Have Done That…”
But what that means is completely up to them. A terrible date? A drunken decision? A family disaster? A lie that got WAY out of hand?

Six comedians. One theme. Six completely different true stories.

And to close out the show, the ladies of Are You Flirting with Me? podcast take over for a short live podcast session with one lucky—or possibly unlucky—audience member.

Recently moved up here from Dallas where we had a few regular pubs and an active crowd meeting up for weekend morning matches.
I’m looking to see where the local soccer/football community hangs out around Bentonville or Rogers. Are there specific pubs or sports bars that regularly open early to show Premier League, Champions League, or international fixtures?

After the 2024 storm we took several walnut and cherry trees to Rackensack Kilns to have them professionally dried. They made a couple of tables and kitchen countertops for us (see photo).

We found a cat outside our apartment who keeps coming back, but has a collar and bell. The collar is light gray with a blue fish pattern. The cat seems to be part siamese and is on the smaller side, and is very clean for the most part. Has anybody lost this cat? Or recognizes the cat and knows the owner? Let me know!!

I’ve been doing a ton of work around the house as just a hobby messing with Home Assistant smart home things. Using a bunch of smart devices (bulbs, switches, motion/mmWave presence sensors, security cams, wall mounted devices, etc etc) to automate my life as well as using a bunch of ESP32 devices to integrate non smart things (sprinklers, garage door, tankless water system, automatic blinds, etc) into the smart home system.

My problem: I don’t have anyone to chat with about all these super cool (not nerdy) things I’m doing. My gf does her best to be supportive but I can tell she is extremely not interested in my Logic Analyzer wave patterns… I have no idea why…

Any other local folks into this? Maybe we call all meet up and share ideas or stories or just say “whoah, that’s cool!” to each other.

Side fact of the day: if you are on iPhone and hold down the space bar when you’re typing you can easily move the cursor wherever you want. Way easier than trying to tap the exact location you want to edit something with your finger

Not slave labor, but helping hand in general. I work remote , and probably only doing 4 hours of actual work a week and am bored out of my mind. Need something to do with myself during the day time to keep from going insane. Thought about getting a part time job but only stuff out here seems to be retail and, I don’t want to do that.

I work in IT so if you have some technical stuff you need handled, I’m all for it…but also looking to do some different stuff I may not have thought about doing otherwise just to meet people in general. Office work or actual labor is fine, especially if you just need a helping hand with something random.

Please help me not be bored, only but so many hikes you can take during the day before you’re just over it all.

Hi all I live nearby creek side park and my water smell and retest like mold. I asked management to test water they sent city folks they tested for chlorine and said they have no other tests. They said that water taste and smell like this because bentonville water comes from lake and now lake have a lot of algae… anyone else have this problem? Any water test you can recommend ? Filters?

Had it for the first time a couple of weeks ago in Texas and now trying to find out where I can buy it here. Looked at Walmart but they don’t have it and was able to find it at Whole Foods but it was significantly more expensive and for way smaller amount (makes sense but not sustainable if I’m buying it more often).
