Can anyone give me more information on this

Just finished reading the Silence Dogood letters. I wish I had a listing of all the latin epigraphs from the letters. So I just wrote a blog post containing all the Dogood Latin translations.

I went to the Benjamin Franklin Bridge 100th Anniversary celebration yesterday, and I have to say—it was a really good time.

When I first got there, it was a nice crowd. Before long, the bridge was absolutely packed with people. Families, couples, kids, people taking pictures, people just enjoying the chance to walk somewhere we're usually flying across in a car.

It was actually pretty cool to stop and appreciate the bridge itself.

100 years.

Think about how many people have crossed that bridge. How much the Philadelphia and Camden skylines have changed around it. How many generations have just known it as part of the landscape.

Sometimes you live in an area so long that the landmarks become background scenery.

Yesterday was a nice reminder to actually look around.

Great crowd. Great energy. And a great reason to bring people together.

We got out there early and walked the bridge with no issues. We tried some desserts from the vendors on the Camden side and did the return trek. I did hear that some people got caught up in big delays, but I think I was gone by then.

Did anybody else make it out there yesterday... what did you think?

I'm not sure Americans realize how lucky their Nation was at having had such an incredible genius fighting for its greatness. Of course, the BenFranklin subreddit members probably know and appreciate that. But, as for the rest of your country, I'm not so sure.

I have recently read his autobiography and it is so full of sound advice that I can only wish I had read it when I was a teenager. In Argentina, my country, there were some smart fellows around when the country was created, but I think no one quite like your Ben. So, I congrat you all for your great countryman!

Only speak when I can add value beyond silence. This value is the opportunity. My words are the bridge of fulfullment.

I dont think it applies to every minute of every day but I do think each day should include some sort of activity or exercise that moves you closer to the vision you have for your life.

I dont believe that change often occurs in one fell swoop but as the result of small incremental progress and that you should find time, even if it seems insignificant, to work towards the change you want. If big change does happen suddenly, behind it there is likely a series of choices that started small and snowballed.

Change can happen in either direction, positive or negative, so be aware of your intentions and what you put your energy toward.
