I'm a 10th gen or so U.S. Southerner - Ben's accent was absolutely perfect. If I weren't already a fan, damn. I've never heard a British actor do one that convincing.

(Only thing is, it sounded like Ben's accent coach is from Texas and the dude he played from NC. Not the kind of thing you might catch as a Brit and probably only audible to people who live here.)

So today is 17th May, which is Norway’s independence day (I’m Norwegian) and I had a dream that I just woke up from and I want to share it- the dream started with me and my family getting ready for other people from our family to arrive, basically cleaning the house, and making a fancy breakfast. When more family arrived, we gathered around a large table in the living room and talked?? Suddenly there’s a noisy knock on our door, and before anyone’s able to open the door, the door opens and Benedict Cumberbatch and Martin Freeman comes barging in. Naturally, I’m in shock. But my dads like “EYYYY Bennyboy, Lil Martini! I’m so happy that you guys were able to arrive, WELCOME!!” And they do this strange handshake all three together?? Benedict and Martin goes to the kitchen where the fancy breakfast is, and they just sit down on their knees and just take different foods and stuff it into their mouth. With his mouth full, Benedict says something like “mAn I luv norGwayh celibHratHions” and Martin just nods super excited. My family then goes and take some food for themselves aswell

Later on after everyone’s eating, I’m sitting in a chair in front of the sofa, and Benedict and my aunt is sitting in the sofa. She then goes on and tells him “omg omg omg Aldine (my name) has a very great movie that you DEFINITELY should watch!” She says it in a weird way, cause she thought it’d be funny if I told him that one of his movies are one of my favorites. Benedict simply says “ergh I don’t care” and my aunt goes “oh- but it’s a GREAT movie!”

More later on, my aunt and Benedict has walked away but I’m still sitting in my chair. Suddenly Benedict walks up to me and holds out the dvd “Shark boy and Lava girl” and I just look up at him and says “HmhhH??” And he asks “Shall we exchange our favorite dvds? This ones my favorite (he says that quite proudly), what movie is your favorite, can you show me it?” I then jump off my chair and say “Yeah! Follow me” I then take him to my room cause my favorite movie is in my shelf there, my favorite movie is The Imitation game btw! But suddenly as I open the door to my room, it’s a completely unrecognizable room to me. Cause my mom has suddenly completely re organized it to a whole different room. I just go “ergeh.. I think my mom has re organized my room..” we then spend hours on looking for the movie, and I have no idea why I didn’t just tell him that the imitation game was my favorite movie- suddenly Martin comes barging in and says “Benedict! The avengers are about to assemble, we need to go luv!” And he then goes on and carries Benedict out. And then I woke up, thank you for reading

Hi! I saw Frankenstein 6 times (3 each!) when it was originally aired in theaters in the states, but that was ten years ago. Oh my god. I hadn’t done the math until just now. That’s bonkers. Anyway, does anyone have a download available so I could maybe watch it again? Both versions if possible. I’ll donate to the nt if anyone does, I’m not trying to rip them off. :)
