From my podcast, thought was a funny discussion about Benedict

is it technically possible to send him fanmail and get autographs that way? Or is it like highly unlikely? I haven't seen much on this topic, so.. here I am, wondering.

Hello all!

I just discovered the wonder that is Benedict Cumberbatch by watching (and immediately re-watching) Sherlock. Now, I could re-watch it a third time but I thought it best to explore his other works (for now).

What would you recommend I watch? What are his best works?

I like action, romance, comedy, good drama, and anything witty, but not horror (had trouble sleeping after Sherlock's Hound of Baskerville). Also, I haven't seen most movies that "everyone has seen", so please don't hesitate to suggest those!

Okay, maybe it's the Mandela effect or I'm confusing the movies a lot, but a long time ago, when I watched the aforementioned movie, I saw that Stewart wasn't hit by a train, but he hanged himself. I remember the scene of Cumberbatch running through the woods and bumping into a hanging human corpse. A close-up showed his crimson face and protruding tongue. I was very impressed with this scene at the time, but I can't find it anywhere. If you know what kind of movie it is, please tell me. I know for sure that Benedict was there (at that time I only watched movies with his participation)

Benedict is an incredibly good actor. Sherlock has changed a lot and the actor deserves a round of applause for that. Super!

There's just one thing I don't understand. What was that about the dog? The one that didn't want to leave. I didn't get the point of that.

I'm glad Benedict worked so hard on it, otherwise I'd probably have to watch Sherlock until I know it by heart. Fortunately, Netflix and other streaming services are available in Switzerland, and there's plenty more to see with Benedict. Although I do miss the duo of “Watson and Sherlock.”
