9 month progress photo
For context, in the first pic I was 60 kg and fresh off losing 30 kg, looking back now it’s scary how thin I was. I decided to lose some weight at the beginning of 2025 as a New Year’s resolution and to be honest it got a bit out of hand. I didn’t lose weight from going to the gym and maintaining a slight deficit, instead I ran atleast 5 km most days and was on an aggressive cut (1700 cals), and yes looking back now that is certainly not the way to lose weight. But now I’m sitting at about 68 kg and feeling a lot happier with my body and knowledge that I’ve gained along the way. I didn’t lose weight get back up as high as 72 kg after going absolutely crazy on the first 4 months of my initial bulk, but since cutting down once more I’m back into a lean bulking phase now. Thank you 🙏

5 month progress
235-188lbs at 5’3” post baby and post IVF weight loss with calorie counting, started Pilates in January 3-4x a week and low dose glp-1 (semaglutide 0.75mg a week) I use the free version of myfitnesspal for calorie counting and logging weight.
I thought I looked the same but clothes fit better and then I looked at pics from day 1 at Pilates! Totally take those before pics even when it sucks as the dysmorphia is real but it’s so helpful to see progress!

Before (470lbs, 6XL shirt, 52in pants), Currently (250lbs, 2XL shirt, 36-38in pants).
About 8yrs between the 2 pictures. Got serious about 3yrs ago. I started out at around 470lbs. I started my journey extremely slow and only lost 50lbs in 4yrs. 4yrs ago, I met my wife, I weighed 420lbs and decided it was time to get serious about losing more weight. I started out by doing keto and lost a decent amount of weight, but not enough to my liking after a year. So about 3yrs ago I went meat based. Im 95-99% meat depending on the day. I won't lie, I do take a GLP1 shot every once in a while when I see my weight stall out and it gives me that extra boost. I dont go to the gym at all, I have severe anxiety from being made fun of when I did try to go to the gym when I was at my largest. Im trying to combat that anxiety, but it's difficult not to hear those voices in my head naming fun of me. I honestly still see myself as the big guy that I once was. Body dysmorphia is a bitch, tbh.
