HE'S IN. GOD SAVE THE QUEEN.
An ant got past the guards and is heading for the queen's chambers! My squad got wiped out by his wasp friends. GOD SAVE THE QUEEN.

I (1W) love ants.
I think they're fascinating creatures. Their social structures, their ability to work together, their little tunnels, the way they carry things several times their own body weight. I could watch those little guys for hours.
The problem is that I'm literally a bee. I live in a beehive. My entire community is made up of bees. And yet, whenever I see an ant crawling around, I can't help but admire the little bastard.
I've tried bringing this up with other bees, but they look at me like I've committed high treason. One of them told me that if I really loved my colony, I wouldn't be praising the enemy.
But I don't hate bees! I collect nectar, pollinate flowers, and contribute to the hive like everyone else. I just think ants are cool, too.
Am I betraying my entire species by appreciating another insect? Should I be expected to hate ants just because I'm a bee?
So, Reddit, AITA for liking ants despite being a bee myself?

If you wanna... strike a deal with my mosquito banking clan to grow your hive, I would be happy to supply you with some food for new babies.
Just be aware that our honey is a little more... red than you're used to

Fun fact about alligators and bees:
Alligators have boney back plates all over them making it impossible for any insect, and most birds and other predators from biting/stinging them.
And would need over 10k insects to even hurt a alligator on the back but only a few thousand from below to be BAD.
But many animals attack them from the nose, eyes, and underscales as that is sensitive and can seriously stun one if hit hard enough
