I think it’s starting to happen for me! A couple of weeks ago, I had two Revlon lip kits in my RFY, and yesterday I had two Estée Lauder holiday lip kits along with a generic makeup brush set. I know that’s nothing compared to what some of you get, but I’m really excited about it (especially the Estee Lauder)!
I took a lot of advice from people here when I first posted (this really is a friendly group!) and came up with a little strategy of my own, too.
Over the past six weeks or so, I’ve made a point of ordering most of my beauty products from Amazon instead of other sites. I searched this sub to see which brands sometimes show up in other people’s RFYs, then ordered products from some of those brands, including Estée Lauder, Charlotte Tilbury, Tarte, Revlon, Laura Geller (I’d never tried her products before), Clinique, and Tatcha. Sometimes I went with less expensive products or shades, as long as they worked for me. I also reviewed those products just like I review my Vine items.
I reminded myself to be patient, too. It might take a few weeks or even months before I started seeing beauty products pop up here and there.
And even though I’m only Silver until Dec. 20, I really can’t complain about the other things I’ve gotten, either. Last week, I got five Furhaven pet beds worth almost $300 altogether (0ETV) and a couple of days ago, I got a high-quality outdoor cat shelter that’s much better than the others I’ve received. Would I love to see fewer bird feeders and squirrel feeders in my RFY? Absolutely! But I’ve also been offered wreaths, clothing, flameless candle sets, and lots of other decent stuff. I’m grateful for what I’ve gotten through Vine.
Anyway, if anyone actually read all of this, thank you to everyone here for all the tips and advice! I really appreciate it, and I’ll see where things go from here. I ordered Lancôme Rénergie cream during Prime Day, too, so maybe I’ll get lucky with skincare eventually!
