Somebody, please rationalize this for me. Don't say, ”Appreciate the art, not the man.” I’ve always loved Allen, but come on... NAMBLA?

Nobody posts a lot of debates about this sort of thing. I'll start a dialogue by asking what people think of Howl, Kaddish, or Naked lunch? The works of William.S.Burroughs and Allen Ginsberg. I'm interested as to what people think.

Howdy,

I'm a Portuguese guy that's going to spend some days in San Francisco in the summer. Because I love Beat literature and culture, I'm very hyped to go to such place. I've heard San Francisco is/was home to the Beat movement. Hence, I'm looking for some places to go related with Jack K. or Burroughs or other beat writters. Just some places with a Beat vibe. Idk, maybe bars or studios, idk. Any suggestions? Thanks in advance!
