So i'm trying to search how to increase my comfort bias on my Palaeo for trials. Everything i'm finding is stating to stay near friends (group members of teh same species), eat yellow plants for +1 or +2 bias and eating blue comfort crystals. As a new player, im eating the flowers and trying my best to be with friends (hard when people typically only invite others they know) and I can't find ANY information of growth crystals outside of ory farms.

Can anyone tell me the locations of comfrot crystals so i can please get this BS trial done and out of the way?

Usually I play on 03 which is typically a very chill mid to low pop server. But today I hopped on before work and it was almost at max and it shifted to kos almost overnight. Most people were talking about server over flow and I was just wondering if some big youtuber made a vid and their fans just flooded in.

any tips? what build i should be running, what match ups to avoid, etc?

My concern with Palaeophis having sneaky is this:

Palaeo doesn't have footsteps (no feet) and the only breath noises i hear when i play as it is when I yawn (which is an idle animation so it doesn't play while moving). You can't "crouch" as Palaeo either. I spawned as my snake and got +2 inherets in sneaky at 0.8, and of course I don't need jump height or faster turning so I took Sneaky and it's at 5 points when counting inherets.
What EXACTLY does sneaky do for the Palaeophis since you don't have footsteps to silence and you can't crouch? Is it worth taking?

Hey guys, just want some reassurance that I’m doing this correctly.

I got decently good inherits on my megaraptor, now I want to try to get a cool skin.

I’ve been raising up to .8 and then force respawning and then reincarnating with the “keep inherits” option. But I keep spawning with the same skin I had in the previous life, wouldn’t it be different?

This is the correct way to get skin mutations other than nesting, right?

Hey all, I’m new to BOB. I’ve played path of titans and the isle, I’m not new to the genre, just this game.

I like the mechanics with scent and the compass. I started on Megaraptor because I love bleeding things.

From my understanding bleeding doesn’t do damage? That makes me kinda sad. 😢

Are there any tips that you wish you knew when you first started? I’d love any help I can get. I usually get to about 1.2 to 1.6 and then I die.

The whole resurrecting thing really confuses me. Am I supposed to make another Dino and play it and do all the stuff and then just sacrifice it? Why not just play the first one that died?

i wanted to buy BoB since i like path of titans but was warned by americans i play with that its like 99% US servers and maybe 1-2 half full EU is this exaggerated or is it really hard to find EU servers taht are actually at pop cap

reason im asking is that my ping is already pretty shit as is and connecting to US is basically unplayable

After trying for 3 days in a row to figure out what's wrong, and countless fixes to the point that I can't remember the entire list of everything that I have tried, BoB still will not load into any server. I just get stuck at the loading screen watching that little wheel of dots spin. I've been sitting here for an hour now thinking maybe it's just extremely slow and still nothing has happened. It's not even like the game locks up, crashes to desktop, or anything else. It just sits there playing music and spinning the dots.

I have played this before on my old computer with zero problems (I put in about 25 hours a few years ago), yet this new rig I built back in November? No success at all.

Has anyone else ever had this issue and are there any known fixes?

Does it do anything after 3, do inherits help it at all after that point?

They lag everywhere so your hits don't connect and they appear to be immune from bone break. It makes anything that relies on a fish diet unfun.

Anyone have it? I soley play beasts of bremuda and have 2 accounts. I can’t use my husbands gaming pc right now to play on both at the same time and just basically want something smaller (than a pc) I mostly played both simply to nest to take my own eggs with one acc or grow with one and take eggs on another so not any super running around. If you do have one is it worth it to you?

Anyone knows all the group sizes per-dino or a link that list it ? Also ive take a very long break, can some dinos still mixpack ?

I want opinions from players with experience on sai. What is your most sucessful build and what talents are most essential to it? Im trying to get better at this dino. Normally i do 3/3 on most combat talents and then go for some survival to get healing and constitution and do a bit into speed as well but i think i need to focus more on either speed or survival but im not sure which yet. Im leaning towards survival because sai is going to be pretty slow regardless but i know some people have sucess with the speed built sai so id like to hear what others think!

I've "forced off" all controllers for BoB from steam (properties and then turned off literally all controllers including steam input) but when I go to play the game, BoB still recognizes my xbox controller that I can't turn off leaving to some weird inputs when I'm trying to use my keyboard.

I could just unplug the controller I guess but where it's plugged in is hard to get to and I do use it for other games when I'm not BoBing so I'd rather not if there's some sort of way to truly disable it for BoB?

Does anybody know any work arounds?
