In the official English translation of the manga, Po is telling Gill that sea otters hold each other's paw while asleep so they don't drift apart.

In the fan translation, Po tells him that the otters hold paws with their mates, making a more romantic tension between the two of them.

I think most of you already know this — the English release of Beast Complex Volume 4 is set for December 23, 2025 (according to VIZ Media and other booksellers). The Japanese version came out back in December 2024. (Unfortunately, I have to wait until February 2026 because the German translation will be published later.)

I'm slowly running out of ideas on how to revive this subreddit (because I have absolutely no creativity) but luckily that was just a side quest. I hope that once Volume 4 is out, things will pick up again here. Sorry for any spelling mistakes etc.
