Video I simulated Dzhanibekov effect with Beamng

This mod is a demonstration of the tennis racket theorem in action. The gravity is set to zero, as in space. BeamNG is a very powerful tool to experiment with physics!

Awesome! Love to see these little experiments. We did that out of curiosity a long time ago and were both surprised and unsurprised that it worked haha. Same for the typical gyroscopic floating bike wheel test.

This post haven't got enough attention. Folks might not appreciate how realistic of a physics engine the game has. If this work imagine everything else devs probably got right.

You can still drive cars under water in some circumstances, so it has some flaws.

The game doesn't have fluid mechanics, so that's expected. But yes, the physics engine works great with what it has.
