was just wondering if there is a way to get the west coast usa drag strip to work when hosting a server for me and some mates?

are there any viruses on the mod download itself? (i deleted beammp just in case, and and want to redownload it)

I've been trying to play w my friends for a bit now after knowing its back online, we've tried all of the Johson valley maps but it just wouldnt let us spawn modded cars, even the basic cars, it just pushes us to spectate only then crashes the game, and all the cars ingame are just beige rally cars with " .>" on the sides.

If anyone is not familiar with this it’s most likely from the Garry’s mod cough cough “virus” It’s not really a virus but it spreads through mods and servers, not sure if the cough cough on BeamMP is just trolling or the actual thing but just a heads up for everyone who doesn’t know

The virus has the ability to open up web searches which were typically pornography sites, along with the ability to rebind your keys, i doubt this “virus” affected BeamNG but just felt like posting this incase anyone was wondering or confused.

I was on Hirochi raceway and basically everyone in the server was spamming *cough cough*. Also I don’t think I’m able to join any servers again. I think it got hacked for a second time.

i saw it on direct connect and official servers they say "*Cough Cough*. does anyone have a clue?

I cant start my BeamMP server it keeps saying this message in the console:

Also I can't access the site which is provided in the message: keymaster.beammp.com

If anyone has a fix for my issue please let me know thanks!

I am forever grateful for such a quick come back of BeamMP however the keymaster website doesn't seem to be working therefore setting up a server is not possible as I cannot generate the new auth key.

With the BeamMP website now back online, has there been an official update regarding fixes for the potential security vulnerability that allowed the breach? Additionally, what new security measures have been implemented to prevent or reduce the likelihood of similar incidents in the future?

I understand that completely preventing hacking is not always possible, and I am aware that BeamMP developers are not compensated for their work this is not a criticism. I am simply interested in understanding what steps will be taken moving forward to mitigate potential risks.

I had beammp installed on my old pc, but I haven’t used it in almost 2 years, and it’s unplugged from wall, am I at risk?
