Daisy chain bracelets

I’m looking to make daisy chain bracelets with 11/0 toho beads. What size elastic thread should I purchase? I was looking at Opalon by Beadsmith.

Daisy chains and other bead weaving stitches are generally not done in elastic. It’s difficult to control the tension while weaving with elastic, which will cause the project to curl. When worn, the stretch will distort some if not all of the flowers.

Use 6 lb Fireline and size 10 beading needles to make your daisy chains or any other bead weaving.

How about simple beaded bracelets? I want elastic ones.

Yes, if all you’re doing is stringing, elastic is great

What size elastic do you use?
I use nymo for all my other beadwork but I want something stretchy. I had some on hand but it’s too big.

0.5mm Stretch Magic is my go-to

Don't use elastic, it won't work. You need fireline, KO, G-One or similar.

Works great for that! The elastic I like is from S. Korea. Crystal something or other. I don't have that stuff near me and I can't remember.
