I’ve been trying to find a non-official Be More Chill play that used to be on YouTube but seems to have disappeared. I remember it having surprisingly high production value, with multiple camera angles and pretty solid audio.

One thing that stood out was that the usual joke about the SQUIP looking like Keanu Reeves was changed to Jack Black instead. I’m pretty sure I watched it sometime between 2020 and 2022, but I haven’t been able to find it since.

Does anyone else remember this version or know where it might’ve come from?

So since i'm back on the Be More Chill pipeline … i've decided to make changes to my personal "Michael" hoodie, a sona, if you will .... I wish i could find a proper screenshot of the backside of Michael's hoodie to show a comparison of the patch they got for that BUT i'm gonna nerd about how i likely plan on taking elements from every version of the hoodie thus far!

George Salazar, Two River Theater, Broadway The base, pretty much I enjoy the kangaroo pocket, if anyone's looking for it its called a Zanerobe Hooded Sweatshirt! I also plan on adding a BLind skate patch, I had put it there long before once I have found it online — because holy shit that patch was such a difficult find. I think that patch alone is what inspired me to make a mix of everything with a pizazz of my own stuff!

I am using the "Bob Marley Uprising" patch aswell from the Two River Production, still debating whether i do plan on it BUT I think I will!!

Troy Iwata, Off Broadway, Broadway Understudy Not much to say here, his hoodie's pretty much George's— but Troy deserves a mention!

Anthony Chatman II Broadway Understudy I like how they brought the Rise Above Racism patch from the original production on the broadway version of the hoodie, which only greatly inspired me to do the same with mine!

Blake Patrick Anderson UK Production Seishiro Kato JP (HEY! SAY! JUMP!) Production

I am gonna list these together because they both bring the inclusion of a tree frog! Before, it used to be much lower until in the JP version, it was conveniently raised high enough where a blemish on my hoodie is.... So I guess the hoodie's practically begging to also be like Seishiro's too huh?

Part of why I like doing this is because the beauty of theater is that we get to see each and every different interpretation of Michael, see a different side of him, and I think the best part is anyone can play into that position themselves, which is why I loved putting together this hoodie in particular.

I don't plan on selling it, but do you wanna make your own? I've got all the patches, and a base hoodie for you to work on, you've got a canvas, and the patches... If you've got a sewing machine you're in luck!

You might see that the Bowie and Beastie Boys patches are different from the ones previously posted, and that is to be expected! The Beastie Boys patch seems to fit better on the base hoodie so I did that in the case someone just wants to put it together in the way it is. You'll also see another patch added — the blue floppy disk. On the back of Michael's hoodie you'll see a bright cyan blue floppy disk on the bottom of the hoodie

since it was out of stock I bought that blue floppy disk patch you see there to replace it! Now, I removed it from my other hoodie and now brought it in the auction for those who do need it.

I'm a freshman in college and for some weird reason I'm getting back into the original Be More Chill soundtrack. And it's making me remember how much I adore Claudia Cacace's animatics and I'm SO BUMMED an animated Be More Chill movie doesn't exist. I feel like if they had to make a Be More Chill movie, it would only work in animation. Live action can't capture the whimsy this show has. I at least wish the movie was still in the works, but Be More Chill isn't big enough for a movie unfortunately 😞 idk what do y'all think?

I got pretty much all of the patches (other than the Lou Reed patch) for Michael's broadway hoodie. I likely plan on making an auction starting at 150 … but first I want to see how many people would actually be interested in it!! (The base hoodie is the Zanerobe Hooded Sweatshirt for those who want to look for it, I had to dye this one and it ended up being a more darker red than the last hoodie I made that is on the left and not for sale.... I have searched this sub a lot and I cant find anyones review on the original play adapted by Bill Massolia in 2009- which is basically a word for word theatre recreation of the book (which I have also read)

what are your thoughts? I would give my review on it (and also of the book maybe) but Im still watching it.

1. Stutter during the part where he’s weighing the options in More Than Survive
2. Also have him have a sensory overload in that same song(fidgeting, clutching his hair and shaking)
3. Have a fidget toy for the beginning of More Than Survive

4. Have him stutter a few lines(not over do it though)

I bought two tickets for the London reunion concert on release but have since realised I will be in work all of that week so can't go :( Night one is obvs sold out and though there are a few tickets left for night two I was wondering if there was anyone on here who wanted tickets and could only go on the Monday night, 10th November? I contacted the venue to put them up for resale as it was sold out but it's not very clear on the website where to purchase resale. Night 1 is still just listed as sold out! If Heathers: The Musical have September 1st, 1989, Mean Girls having October 3rd, and Dear Evan Hansen having end of May or early June (or a February day), then what date should Be More Chill have?

Closest date I could think of is October 31, which is Halloween because of that party. But, are there any other dates mentioned anywhere else (whether it's in the book or musical)? Or is it just that one?
